A beautiful old church with an intriguing rune stone. Open in the summer with members of the congregation on hand to offer guided tours and a welcoming cup of coffee. The cemetery surrounding the church is beautifully maintained.

This church is a wondrous beauty… her spires are simply inspiring… she is surrounded by lovely grave stones that are well kept and maintained… this church is worth A visit because of it's ancient history and architecture…

This is a church from the middle ages (about 800) and the atmosphere is from that age. Then it was a catholic church, but in 1536 it became a lutheran church, got a very nice gallery and choir

One of the most beautifull churches in Norway. A place to go and reflect in our hectic world. I have a famyligrave to visit there. You can have guided tours in the church.

We were brought here by my wife's relatives on a driving tour of family-related sites in Kristiansand. Regrettably, it was closed, but the outside of the church, the churchyard and the explanation of the church's history were well worth the stop.
