The boat trip is the real treat!

It is just a ltt,e village but the trip by boat is spectaculsr and offers views that you would otherwise not have. Must be fun, when all the cabins are occupied during the summer.

My daughter and I visited this seaside town which is about 1 hours bus ride from Oslo city centre. You can take the 541 Drobak bus from the Bus station behind Oslo S train station. It is a quaint town famous for the Christmas house. Unfortunately, Santa was on vacation when we visited but still we loved the Christmas house... More

Drøbak is a very peaceful little town near by the Oslofjord, and from there you can take the ferry out to the Oscarsborg forteress. Drøbak also have one of Santas gift outlets. The town is well worth a visit.

Beautiful little town sitting on the fjord. Boat rides from hear to Oscarsborg historical fortified island. Also post office is world famous as being the post office handling post to and from father christmas. In fairness father christmas works in the post office. Drobak even has road signs warning of father christmas crossing the road. There is also a little... More

Cozy town shoreline to the Oslo fjord. Easy parking and surprisingly less expensive than you might expect. Most famous for "The Christmas House", where you can buy quality christmas decor all year round.

It is one of the nicest places around that we been to in Oslo. The whole atmosphere and ambiance to the place is different. There are breathtaking views all around and then shops and restaurants are perfect to meet your immediate food and souvenir requirements. The only thing is that you have to move a bit away from the main... More

The place is picture perfect and is a little quaint neighborhood out of the main town and the fresh air and ambiance of the place will cheer you instantly. The houses and the layout of the place are breathtaking and then there are lots of shops and restaurants around as well. You could take bus to the place or have... More

We arrived on a sunny day in the middle of October. Lovely town. Great views and super calm. I am not sure if there are any open attractions in October there but just walking around and sitting by the water was enough for us in the sunny weather. There were also a few open coffee shops and restaurants. Transportation: Bus... More

A small Norwegian town with beautiful wooden shops, restaurants and houses set on the Southern coast of OsloFjord. It is perfect location to keep a sailing yacht and sail around Oslofjord. It is accessible by an express bus from the Oslo Bus Terminal. I reccomend spending at least an afternoon here!

The bus ride is about an hour , from Oslo town. I really like this quaint little town. Very peaceful. I regretted that I didn't do my research well, didn't know we can have the Christmas card to be sent right before Christmas.... :(
