Went here to see a little bit of rural Norway by bus, nice journey. Drobak is a small very pretty village/town with a nice walk around the streets and coastline. the tourist information office is also the location of many letters and cards sent by children to Santa and the gentleman behind the desk when I visited bore a striking... We wanted a boat ride on the Oslo Fjord, but wasn't sure where to go. Our hotel receptionist suggested Drobak, so that's what we did. However, it wasn't strictly a boat ride, it was a catamaran. Anyway the journey took about one and a half hours and we thought what a quaint place it was. Definitely worth a visit. Be... More

A tiny town/village situated along a small fjord about 25 km from Oslo. It would take a morning to visit the sights here including the aquarium and then drive back to Oslo.

Wonderful small town, quite full especially in summer's sunny days. The kind of place you can spend the day, a few hours driving from Oslo.

On the side of the main Oslo fjord, this is a classic Norwegian town. The people have such a pride in Norway (flags flying everywhere) and also a pride in their homes which are beautifully kept. The town is well worth stopping off in for a few days - explore the back streets, take time to sit in the marina... More

It is just a ltt,e village but the trip by boat is spectaculsr and offers views that you would otherwise not have. Must be fun, when all the cabins are occupied during the summer.

My daughter and I visited this seaside town which is about 1 hours bus ride from Oslo city centre. You can take the 541 Drobak bus from the Bus station behind Oslo S train station. It is a quaint town famous for the Christmas house. Unfortunately, Santa was on vacation when we visited but still we loved the Christmas house... More

Drøbak is a very peaceful little town near by the Oslofjord, and from there you can take the ferry out to the Oscarsborg forteress. Drøbak also have one of Santas gift outlets. The town is well worth a visit.

Beautiful little town sitting on the fjord. Boat rides from hear to Oscarsborg historical fortified island. Also post office is world famous as being the post office handling post to and from father christmas. In fairness father christmas works in the post office. Drobak even has road signs warning of father christmas crossing the road. There is also a little... More
