I knew very little about the voyages of the Fram until I entered this building housing the ship. All around the walls of the building are displays telling you about the ship, it's crews and polar exploration You can view her from three different levels and then go on board and explore below deck. The smell of oil and wood... more

We had a great time except the chilliness inside the museum! It was much colder than outside - and we´ve been there in January. I don´t know if this is usual, we didn´t ask, just ran out of the musem as soon as we went of the board. I didn´t even take my gloves off while I was taking pictures.... more

We visited the Fram museum with our children (ages 5 & 7) in December 2008. They loved exploring the ship and seeing how the explorers lived while aboard the Fram. A great way to learn history and let off some energy at the same time! more
