I'm an Engineer, age 56, working in Oslo now for a 6 month assignment. I was excited to find this place since it looked like there were some fantastic jazz shows here. ...just dropped in based on recommendation from the hotel Concierge. The group "knocked my socks off". I was told this was the first time they'd played together. Reminded me of Greenwich Village Clubs of 50's, 60's & 70's...where good music is played spontaneously...improvised for the moment. The drummer was Carl Stormer, saxophonist previously played in "Steps Ahead"; I don't remember... More
