A good introduction to the Norwegian "indie"/wannabe indie culture. The music is good and you can smoke in the backyard. More

One of the best places in Oslo - if you like rock music, and dont mind a bit of a crowd, especially on the weekends. More

Great indie/rock bar with small venue and is connected to a diner which serves up a decent burger (beaf/chicken or veggie) and a new cocktail bar called surround. These 3 places are connected and you can walk from one to another with drink in hand. There are also two backyards were you can smoke. More

This is just by Youngstorvet in the center of Oslo. Every kind goes here, and the café on the side serves burgers and some vegetarian food. In the night you can go here for drinks andc dancing. Ages: 23-40 ish. More

I visited Oslo at Early November. Me and my friends decided to go to Mono cafe to dance and have a beer! We were 3 girls aged 24 to 28 years old. Just at the entrance of the cafe-club we were stopped by a woman security. She didn't welcome us. On the contrary, she was very rude and inpolite. She... More

Let´s begin with the first impression. The interior is, quite honestly, ugly as hell. This is not a place to bring a date (unless he or she is also ugly as hell too, and you want your date to blend in nicely with the furniture. Then, by all means, take your date here). Allow me to elaborate: First of all,... More

Allright place if you want to check out the rock scene of Oslo, the price of beer isnt too bad either, there's a backyard if you smoke. On the downside, they usually play earshattering loud music and there are very few seats, especially on a busy night. Expect to be sorrounded by local hipsters. If you want to see one... More

This is an absolute great cafe in Oslo. A lot of locals go there. The music is a little alternative. The women are from alternative to trendy and smiling to us Dutch guys ;-p Great atmosphere, there is a smoking area inside/outside where most people are. More
