I didn't know what to expect when going out in Oslo, our friends took us to Bla, it took ages to get in, entrance was rather expensive and music ok. we spent a lovely night thanks to the great, cozy area!

On the river and in the heart of the artsy-experimental area, this cafe and club attracts a diverse and interesting crowd. Some cool art galleries nearby, and of course, loads of vibrant graffiti on the walls of the neighboring buildings. Sunday nights feature awesome, foot-tapping music from a quirky, talented band -- long lines out the door if you get... More

I had a fantastic time here on Sunday. We went there at about 8pm as we had been told it was the right time to go. Beers were about £7 which is quite reasonable for Oslo venues. There is a massive outdoor area that's packed on Sundays with cool atmosphere and trendy graffiti all over the walls. The outdoor is... More

A really cool experience in a beautiful area in Oslo. Music was nice and lighting is great! There is a cool international graffiti wall outside with the outside terrace of the club and the entrance. Mainly locals inside. The problem there is the price. But that's because I'm not noregian...

Last time I was here, it was to attend a dear friend's funeral. That probably tells more of my friends than this hidden unpolished gem. We're waiting to The Swans to enter the stage, which again don't tell much of the place. This place is cold, ruff, worn, ugly as a fiend... In other words down right gorgeous ;-) The... More

This place is great for a mid day beer by the river during summer, but also buzzing club nights. The place is probably my favorite in Oslo, attracting a young and partly hipsterish crowd. If you're not looking for a night out, you should visit the area by day anyway, just to browse the nice graffiti and street art in... More

For me this was the best place i have visited in Oslo. Very beautiful art school that in night becomes club. Small river is passing just by. In period when we were there, they organize exhibition and after it, big party. It was perfect! If you are in Oslo, you must visit Bla. Skol!

People always rave to me they this is the place to be on a Sunday night as it is the only thing available so I checked it out. Well the location is nice - next to the river. I could imagine in winter it waould be so beautiful. The music is swing style when u was there. The crowd was... More

This is off the beaten path and if I hadn't asked the friendly receptionist at the hotel', we would have probably spent the evening at one of the pricey tourist traps in the city center. Friendly bar staff and a great selection of beers which can be enjoyed sitting by the river. This venue is open all day and you... More
