Lovely cinema to watch movies!!! I recommend visitors to visit the place at least once. You can sit anywhere you like since the monitor can be viewed well at any angle. And the sound is very clear. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!

The sound, the sight. Fantastic. Huge, Grand. The only cinematheatre that can match in Norway is situated in Fredrikstad.

Theatre number 1 is best(the biggest). The place was better before, now it sees the effects of new and worse (danish)management. Needs better maintenace. Was excellent, now its just good. But still the best regular and 3D cinema I have been in.

It was nice, nothing extravagant about the place. There was renovation going on around the area so it made the place not so nice as one will see in the pictures....

Sadly, Colosseum, the biggest THX cinema in the world (or something like that) has become bad. The focus on 3D-movies on such a big screen makes it a bad place to watch movies. Only if you're lucky enough to watch the movies in the middle area it is actually OK to watch the movies here. You're getting sound echoes on... More

Enough said. If you're in Oslo and you're sick of looking at tourist sites, get a ticket to see a movie and choose Colosseum. Big screen, excellent sound, and almost no matter where you sit, you'll be able to see the entire screen, due to the big screen, the curvature and the big room itself. The best sound and picture... Saw "The Wolf of Wall Street" in this cinema. While the film left a lot of room for improvement, the cinema was a pleasure to visit.

I live close by, I go here to see movies, but its not an attraction unless you are very interested in a specific form of architecture. I would not recommend spending time to go see it as a form of attraction unless theres a movie you want to catch.

As frequent moviegoers back home in England, we were looking for something to do on a cold, wet and rainy night in Oslo (little is open on a Sunday night). We decided to see a film at the Colosseum cinema which had a 15 age certificate, but back in England was an 18 certificate, so my teenage daughter was excited... More
