I don't know if the exhibit I saw was larger or more detailed than usual in connection with the 150th anniversary of Munch's birth. Neoclassical architecture, beautiful. The large Munch paintings is the main reasons for visiting this venue, and the concerts. Newly refurbished.

One of the main works of Edvard Munch is his decorations in the Aulaen Hall. A must for art lovers.

The Aulaen Hall is newly restored to it's original splendour. The walls are decorated by Much paintings. The end wall with the Sun is particularly striking.
