Another must visit in Oslo. In summers of course one can only imagine how the skiiers take position and jump down the dizzying height. The museum is said to be the oldest ski museum in the world and is very interesting and informative. It takes quite sometime to reach the top because the funicular and the lifts can only take... The Holmenkollen Ski Jump is definetly worth to visit, just to experience fantastic view over Oslo and Oslo Fjord! Ski museum is OK, if you are crazy about the skies, but must admitt, never have read so many informations about skies in one place (which is good!)

It was so cool to see what ski jumpers see from up in the tower - I couldn't imagine going down they hill! The views were amazing and I really enjoyed the ski museum. I definitely recommend this.

Free with the Oslo pass! Both entrance to the museum and the public transport (extremely easy and pleasant to use) that you take to get there. After you get off the train it is a bit of a trek up the mountain side to the museum, but there's generally a steady flow of people and signs to guide your way.... More

The day we visited a contest was taking place and lots of athletes with sleds were moving in every direction. They were preparing the ski jump as well, but we had no time to wait. The ski jump structure is impressive; This is one way to understand Norwegians.

If you are ski enthusiast, I will say that this is a absolute must visit - but Holmenkollen really does have something for everyone. The historical aspect of the exhibits is well-done and gives you a great feel for how integral Skiing is for Norway's culture, but the lift to the top of the ski jump along with the viewing... More

Amazing structure. Quite a small museum but full of Olympic skiing info. Cafe is very reasonable for coffee and cake. We were in hotel next to it but don't think I would have made the trip out from the city just for museum. There is a ' winter park' where you can hire sleds which we didn't do but others... More

Today was tourist in your own city day so there was a long queue to get to the top of the ski jump. Once at the top you get a beautiful view of Oslo and the surrounding area. The museum itself was alright. The metro was the easiest way to get to this attraction. Take the train towards Frognerseteren and... More
