An amazing building...you can walk right on the top of this beautiful building situated on the Oslo Fjord. My 14 year old loved it too! The views are superb. We didn't have time to take the tour, wish we had. The inside is warm wood, and the exterior white marble which resembles an iceberg, with a sculpture in the harbour... More

I didn't get into the auditorium itself, but the lobby and exterior of the Opera House is an exceptional experience. The architecture is one of a kind, rivals Sydney in both design and setting. You can walk up the sloping roof and get a birds eye view of the harborside. I went in early evening with a marvelous sun setting... More

The Oslo Opera House is well worth a visit. The inside, with all the wood, is beautiful. The most spectacular thing is to walk on the roof, however. The weather was perfect for our visit and it was really magical. Please visit!! More

I really like the idea that everyone can easily get on the roof of Opera house. Do not miss the chance to go inside the Opera house. Interior is unusual as well. More

Do not miss a walk on the opera house rooftop. The roof is sculptured like the snow in the Norwegian mountains in february/march. Many small edges and irregularities, which may be dangerous until you learn to watch your step. Very nice view on the fjord as well as on the town. And with luck you may also get a ticket... More

If you are lucky enough to get tickets go to a show; Dress elegantly as the this is an elegant environment! of course on the roof - wear good walking shows. A real treat. Here it's easy to strike up conversation with others as you... More
