A beautiful building by "Snøhetta". Italian marbel like a icemountain up from the Oslo Fjord. You can walk on the roof and get a fantastic view. There is a nice restaurant too. Close to the trainstation - just 2 min. walk.

Just sit on the roof an enjoy the people, the arcitecture and the view. It's nice all year, even better in nice weather. Go

The Oslo opera house is a true gem in a part of Oslo under reconstruction. Take a walk on the white marble roof, along the sea and up hills to the top and get a fantastic view of the Oslo Fjord. Then go inside to a marvelous reception, and if you have tickets, go to a concert in astounding concert... More

Great arcitechture in the modern part of Oslo with a great view of the sea from outside and excellent sound distribution in the shows.

To be honest, even if you are a opera lover or not, you must visit this place! Best if you visit in the evening well dressed, as it is very cold up there! We visited 2 times, one time for the view and outside experience, and another time for an opera play, La Boheme, which in my opinion could be... More

Not interested In Opera, totally ok. Lovely architecture you can Walk on. Nicely placed by the Oslofjord, In an up and coming area. Inside the good audio and all the wood heightens the musical experience. Enjoy!

This is a beautiful building. It was gorgeous to visit in the winter as the water it is near was nearly frozen and there was snow on the mountains in the distance. This is worth a visit even if only for a few minutes to take pictures and enjoy the beauty.

I couldn't go inside the Opera however the roofs are amazing. This is a multi slanted building you can walk right to the top of, and although clichéd every corner offers a different view of Oslo, from the ferries in the harbour to the financial area and downtown. Definitely worth seeing and bring a camera!
