We were keen to do a cruise on the beautiful Oslo Fjiord & Saw this advertised at the wharf. The Wednesday evening Jazz cruise , which includes a buffet ( prawns) dinner . It leaves the wharf at 1900, returning at 2200, & is excellent value , for the price ...425NOK. pp. We were really lucky that the weather was... More

We only had a full day in Oslo, so after exploring some museums we decided to take to the sea. The 2-hour fjord tour gave us incredible city and island views, as well as the always fun feeling of being on the water. The commentary was blessedly sparse, only a few sentences every 10 minutes or so. Much better than... More

I took the blues cruise on saturday (on wednesday it's jazz, I think), it's obviously more expensive, but if you like music and fresh prawns (buffet, no drinks included), it's totally worth it. It gets chilly though, so take a jacket (windstopper?).

We went on the normal, covered boat and not the sail boat because it was a the time that suited us best. I guess the cruise on the sail boat is better and more impressive. We did the two hour Fjord cruise, overall it was good, but not great. The boat is clean and safe and has refreshments and toilets available.... More

Buy 72 hour Oslo pass and the boat tour included - take the tour out to Bygdoy and the ferry back. Visit Opera house on the boat for great views. Enjoyable experience especially as the Norwegians are so friendly and speak English so well.

A lovely two hour cruise around some of the Island's, full commentary in English, the views are just great, and an detailed description of each Island, and you can ask any question about any individual sighting. You can get snacks and water on board but these are not included in the price.

We took the boat trip out into the Fjords. A very informative trip of what went on in the Fjords and on the islands. We had a great day weather wise which made the trip even better.

We took the 2 hour tour to see the fjords but unfortunately apart from some pretty scenery and lovely summer houses not much else to see. It started to rain quite heavily while we were on the boat and as the top level has no cover, everybody had to group together under the small inadequate awning on the bottom part... More

It was not the most exciting tour I had been on. It was 2 hours and cost about $40 USD. That got us a trip around the Oslo fjord and occasional commentary by our tour guide. The Oslo fjord is pretty, but not the picturesque fjord that most people look for in Norway. It is only called a fjord due... More

We took the afternoon trip of two hours to see the "oslo fjords". And although we enjoyed the boat tour, seeing the sea, houses, nature and listening to interesting facts,we never saw a fjord. Even the lady giving us the tour, told us that there were not fjords in the area, these are up north Norway. So why do the call themselves a "Fjord tour"?... More
