Hello this is my first ever review since I am quite new to tripadvisor except from reading the reviews before we go out on an expedition so I am sorry in advance for any mistakes! :) Me and my girlfriend booked a snowmobile tour in the day with Lyngsfjord Adventure and the result was AMAZING. We were picked up at... More

Had a fabulous time driving huskies in the Alps in deep new snow even in March. Stunning scenery on the drive from Tromso to the camp and when out with the dogs. The dogs were great and it was fun to help unharness them. Nice, well organised trip which included lunch and transport to the camp; chose this one on... More

We booked a dog sled safari through our agent in the UK (The Nordic Holiday Company) so we had no say in our choice of operator. But what a great choice it was! We all agreed that it was easily the highlight of our trip, despite actually seeing the Lights on our first night in Norway. It was a fairly... More

!8th March. We went dog sledding on the last morning of our trip to Norway and had the most wonderful time. It was the highlight of our trip as we were unsuccessful in seeing the Northern Lights this made up for the disappointment. Everyone were very friendly and the dogs just amazing, they just want to run. A brief introduction... More

Lyngsfjord Adventure tours depart approx sunset and deliver you back in to Tromso around midnight. Good value for money 7 hours . I paid approx Aust $180 for 1&1/2 hours bus travel each way through changing countryside towards the east of Tromso towards the Swedish Finnish borderlands. The bus held folk for the dogsledding, motorbike(!) riding, northern lights watching, group... More

We chose to do the Snowmobiling and luckily we picked the perfect day as it was sunny, so perfect for two of us who were beginners. I wouldn't recommend going in a white out if you've never been before! Easy to book, we got picked up just across from the Radisson Blu, the journey took around 80 minutes and you... More

We had a fantastic holiday at Camp Tamok We booked through TromsoAdventures which included 2 nights in the excellent hotel (Clarion Bryggen) either side of our stay in the camp but you can book directly with Lyngsfjord themselves. Pick up and drop off were on time and close to our hotel and pick up is very close to the last... More

I am adding my review to my Daughters (Cara B). We spent the whole day at Camp Tamok and do not let anyone say sledding is easy. You will be very warm with the suit and boots provided but it will certainly be energetic and sweaty. A great experience nonetheless. Lunch in the lavvu (tent), chill time chatting with Andreas... My friend and I did an overnight stay at Lyngsfjord Adventure's Camp Tamok with northern lights chasing and dog sledding. First of all, worth mentioning that the odds of seeing a glorious display of northern lights even in this supposedly prime location is about the same as hitting the lottery. May as well set expectations because this trip costs a... More

The first thing to point out with this trip is that the pick up point is on the waterfront just across from the Radisson Blu Hotel and just down from the Rica Ishavshotel, so if you're waiting in the hotel foyer you won't see the large 52 seater coach beyond the building works. To be fair the coach is easily... More
