I so enjoyed our visit to Lillehammer Olympic Park. I always find it thrilling to visit an Olympic city and Lillehammer was no exception. We went up to the top of the ski jump on the chair lift which was smooth and fun. From the top there were beautiful views of the city. After we came down, we drove past... More

A huge place to walk and see but if your not a sports buff I wouldnt bother. The ski jump is awesome and you can climb right up to the top. There is a fun ride to mimic how it feels to be obn the slope. Well worth it. Its fun:)

Other than having the bragging right for having visited the actual sight, there was not much to see. Visit if it is on the way for another destination unless one is an enthusiastic sport fan.

Went as part of a work trip. The bob sleigh run is a must do! Very well run and all safety is taken care of. Loved it.

The place is really nice and beautiful, reachable from the train station with a rather long walk up hill though, as I did, I then had the crazy idea of climbing the 936 steps to the top of the jumps, but it was worth, there also is a more comfortable and rather affordable chairlift... The view from the top is... More

We decided to visit the Olympic Park by walking and hiking. So, our trip starts form downtown of Lillehammer up to the ski jumping tower. It was a very nice trip and somehow needed after few day with almost none physical activity. The complex for ski jumping is quite impressive. If the weather is good the landscape is breathtaking and... More

Skiers were training on the ski jump during our mid morning summer visit. Fabulous to watch them up close working on the artificial surface. While you can catch a double chair to the top, the 938 steps are relatively easy and can stop to take photos as an excuse to get your breath back if suffering. This time of year... More

We enjoyed the view high above the city, visiting the ski jump and buying some souvenirs at the gift shop.
