I went to the Lillehammer art museum expecting a local art museum but was very pleasantly surprised at their ambitions and how successful they have been. The Lillehammer Art Museum is well worth a visit. They have a splendid permanent collection from the Golden Age of Norwegian painting 1830-1930. Unfortunately, our visit to Lillehammer on 3rd July 2008 was brief but we were delighted to find your museum and the Edvard Munch Exhibition. Your staff were most welcoming and we thought the exhibits and paintings were displayed in a most attractive way. More
