I agree with manŷ on here there just isn't the infrastructure yet to make this a truly international destination they have the snow but only 2 chair lifts and the rest are drags , real drags ,steep ,long and tiresome and time consuming. The plateau is where all the ski schools are as it's fairly flat and safe and accessed... More

Trysil is very good for wintersport but the hotel Park Inn and restaurants is very expencive. The infrastructure in the village is to poor. Good slopes, but very windy. Short ques at the lifts. The food at the restaurant ar lower standard, even at the bigger hotels

My partner and myself were given details of a company to participate with dog sledging where it mentioned that they did twilight dog sledging tours which sounded like good fun. We were staying at the Radisson Blu resort and was given the information by one of the guys at the front desk. The next day we went to reception and... More

We had a fantastic time in Trysil. The snow in February was great and apart from the last day when there was a lift closure we got maximum value for money. The slopes are quite varied and I would say not really suitable for an absolute beginner if you're going peak period. However, for intermediates it is perfect. We stayed... More

That's true! There are lot of chairs (as well as anchors) - it is very comfortable for children, different pistes, different landscapes - forest, snow desert, rocks etc. There is possible to live next to piste - you do not need to wait for others, children can go home if they are tired or come to ski. Very nice apartments.... More

OK, it can't compare to Alpine resorts, but it's a lot of fun. Very good for beginners and intermediates, but fewer challenging runs for advanced skiers - yet even they will find plenty to do. Three days was about right for us, though we could have switched to cross-country for something different to do - there are extensive trails. We... More

Best skiing for entire family. We've been skiing here for 10 years with 2 other families. Trysil has a great system, always lots of snow!

We are now in Trysil for the11th time during almost 20 years, and it is now more importantthan ever, that Tyrsil introduces skiing patros who can keep the teenths and snowboards in control. They are running us down everyday. But also some good news - the new beginners area is super! thanks. But introduce help to handicapped!! My daughter is... More

For the first time in all the years that we have been in Trysil it was a bad experience. Trysil is fantastick for skiing and no matter where you go everybody is nice and friendly. We had rented a cabin for 19 people and it wasn´t cheap. The cabin was very run down and did not have the capacity to... More
