As I was on my own, I didn't really feel like going on the rides and attractions, but it was worth a walk through as it's a great example of an Austrian theme park and really interesting.

I am not fan of this kind of stuff (at least my stomach is not) but this is something must see and try. It has large number of amusement attractions with local food and drinks. Kids and teens are going to love it!

Whilst it was very interesting to go on the big wheel i think what let it down as all the graffiti in the carriage but I would still recommend people to go on it.

Iconic Ferris Wheel used in James Bond, Europe's (or possibly the world's) tallest Flying Swing Carousel, biggest Schnitzel in Vienna, and litre upon litre of beer! A really fun day out. You do have to pay for every ride separately which, if you intend on spending the whole day there, can be quite expensive, but it's worth it for such... More

Fantastic place for family or a single person. Lots of attractions with reasonable prices. Many places to eat, drink and relax. Nice to work around if you do not like to ride. Madame Tussauds is another reason to visit Praterstern. Not as big as the one in London, but not less attracting. You can easily access Praterstern from different direction... More

Really great fun, wow. Contrary to other viewers , Prater is a recommended park, for children and adults too. We've got really some nice moment there, in the park for relaxing after all the exciting games there. But don't forget to have a visit in Madame Tussaud's, meeting all the famous existing as non existing personages in our day life,... More

This is a very run down tired amusement park on the outskirts of Vienna. Americans--do not waste your time, this is definitely not six Flags!! The old Ferris wheel is worthwhile but that's it. We went on a Wed evening and it was virtually empty except some unsavory characters. I did not feel safe at all. Unless you have very... More

My son wanted to knock pyramids and try to win a stuffed toy. The shop opener was encouraging him to throw he was initially helpful and never told us that each throw was one euro. After 15 throws he comes up with a figure of 48 and the insists we pay. We obviously refused and said he was not counting... More
