Beautiful place with beautiful buildings and open spaces. Great place to take a stroll or sit around to relax. Can also choose to chill out at the Volksgarten Pavillon with a glass of cold beer.

Lovely clean park with plenty of seating, lots of flowers and a fountain, it's just peaceful to sit and watch the world go by in the middle of this beautiful city.

So pretty. Sculptured gardens. Public toilets. Pack a picnic and take some 50 cent coins to use the to lots. Lots of trees...had a local felt to it.

Beautiful formal gardens opposite parliament. It has a replica Greek temple in the center and a beautiful memorial rose garden as well. Just pop through while waiting for a tram.

We took a walk around the park & sat by the shady bench to recover from the heat. It was a very relaxing getaway from the people crammed city streets.

It is a very good park in the inner city of Vienna. One can enjoy a walk or sit and relax in the shade in summer.

Lovely central park for strolling around on a Sunday lots of meditative groups here and people relaxing. Interesting statues of composers are dotted about .Some imposing some modest. Large lake and a motionless heron was fascinating to watch.Next to a stop on the Ringstrasse

This is a very great way to have a break from the city life and all the touring you will be doing throughout your stay in Austria. Get lost in the beautiful gardens and grassy fields while still being in beautiful Vienna Austria.

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
