the volksgarten is a not remarkable park. but opposite there is the national library well worth a visit, and the main university, full of life. in the back there is the dicotheque "volksgarten" famous for good musik - if you are fit & young enough to spend a night there ..;-)

Colourful park with many flowers. Some sculptures, and street musicians. There istnieje also a funny section with small trees labeled with names of loving pairs. Endorphines up! ;)

Only had the opportunity to walk through here at night, so don't feel I get to see it at its best, but it was well lit and quite impressive even in the dark. Plenty of people around to make it feel safe as well.

Grab something to eat and sit there for hours, watching the beauty. The park is beautiful, they have labels for each flower tree available, huge collection of roses with elegant smells. Great location between Parlimant, Hofburg palace and Museums Quartier.

We grabbed a drink and just sat, relaxed and people watched after a couple hours in the museums. This and the other parks in the area provide a... More
