My husband and I ran through here the other day, and it was so pleasant! The flowers are still blooming, and the colors of the flowers and trees were so vibrant. There are plenty of places to sit and enjoy nature, and people watching.

It is really very nice, peacefull and you can enjoy the nature. A lot of familiies and couples are walking or cyckling. There is a samll Liliput train for the children ( and of course for audelts as well), which is really a good experience. There are 4 stations, one at the Donauturm and another at the at Spielplat, so... More

It was only incidentally that we hit upon this park while on a visit to theDonaturm (Reviewed earlier) & happy that i did ! The park has been created on a 245 acre garbage dump on an island between the river Danube & the old Danube. It has been developed as a many sided park with special exhibition & theme gardens... Oh, what a beautiful creature! And there are many swans in Donaupark! Beautiful, majestic! Oh, and many ducks! And many other species of birds! I loved this park a lot, because it looks wild, especially it's lakes. We also wanted to take a train ride, but the train was nowhere to be found. :) Don't forget to go to the... More

The park is nice and quiet for relaxation and strolling with a picnic. One can join this visit with visiting the Donau Tower. 50% of Vienna are green areas which are well maintained and are enjoyable during weekends and holidays.

Not every one outside vienna know this park. Because that the park is quit. A real green point at the side of the city. The mini bun train is must have thing to do and it cost 4 euro. buy the combaine ticket with the danub tower and and it will cost only 8 euro .
