My mum and I made a last minute decision to watch a concert since we were in Vienna after all; I recommend buying tickets on the day since they always say tickets sell really quickly and yet you see blokes hustling on the plazas all day; we got a really good discount especially since I'm a student, and honestly the... Visited the concert on 8th July, Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra at the Orangery Schoenbrunn. It runs every evening, hence take a hint it cant be high standard performance :) I choose this as it was only option on that day, otherwise would have not. Bought A category ticket-€ 65 per person. Can easily go for cheaper as stage is higher and... More

When beginning this tour of the Imperial Cities, I could hardly hope to get concert tickets in any city but I did in all three. The first was at The Orangery, a lovely venue with good acoustics. The concert of Mozart and Strauss was performed by the orchestra, a soprano, a tenor and two dancers and culminated in The Blue... More

This event really should be reviewed separately as a "concert" and a "package". If you want to hear some good classical music in Vienna, this concert would fit the bill. The chamber orchestra was excellent, as were the vocalists. (The dancers choreography was far beneath the standard for this type of show). The package was "billed" as 'a gourmet dinner... More

We bought tickets off the vendor in the street near the "concert hall." We had already decided to buy the tickets but the pushy rep. kept talking and told us there were only 5 tickets left. As we found out later this was just a blatant lie. We arrived to find the bar which has a needlessly premium price vs... More

We booked this concert through a promoter on the street in Vienna. We were hoping to see a classical performance while in Vienna and it really is promoted as a much grander event. The musicians are good as are the vocalist. It's really the setting that lacks although it is part of the Schoenbrunn palace. Pretty much what every other... More

we were not going to do this concert because of high prices on line and bad reviews, especially when paying for premium packages including dinner. Save your money. Look in town for sellers desperate to sell out that nights concert and negotiate. We went early to buy our own nice dinner, and look at Palace grounds and the easter market.... More

Having attended the concert last night, I can't help but agree with all the reviews in this section. The orchestra was good in my opinion, bear in mind I am not an expert, but it did had some moments for me. The conductor himself was having so much fun that you can't help enjoy the music. The dancers were much... More

This presentation is a good one fort hose who know nothing about Mozart's or Strauss' music. Otherwise is a poor experience. We got this in a combo with dinner there. Dinner was average-low. Although they served the typical tafelspitz, it was bad compared to other experiences.

I booked this dinner and concert experience as a treat fro myself and a friend - to the dismay of my Viennese pals who said it was not something any Viennese would endorse as worth the money! They only told me that later - after I expressed some dismay that the dinner was quite average for the cost - served... More
