Great view, but pricey

We had a lovely time there, had nice cakes, but average coffee. Only real critic I have is: it's a little bit overpriced....

Nice central location, hip and modern decor. Couldn't get a cocktail until after 6 (we went at 4pm) only a tall drink and the waiters refused to take a photo. Besides this the venue was all good.

Noticed the lift up to sky bar when walking down main street. We decided to venture up ourselves. This bar offers great views of the Cathedral and city itself. We decided to have a few drinks and although its obvious that it is a very posh place the staff are very friendly and wern't bothered we were in shorts and... More

Overall i really liked this place. The drinks were nice although quite expensive from what I saw of Vienna standards. When we went we got lucky and had a table by the window, which afforded a stunning view of the city, and there was a live saxophonist followed by a vocal duet. The staff were friendly enough (despite being there... More

The only good thing I can think about is the location... Rather than that... Awful place! They are rude! It is too pricey for what you get. You HAVE to put your jacket away... And pay 4 euros for it... And they will tell you this in an unfriendly way... Will not go back for sure...

Tell your bouncers / hosts / waiters to be polite to guest. Our evening took a bad start when somebody at the entrance shouted very rude to my girlfriend that she had to take off her jacket and that I had to remove my vest. She was simply wearing a wide black scarf over her little black dress because she... More

Nice bar serving also an attractive food selection, perfect views over St. Stefan cathedral and very good service. It is divided in bar, restaurant and terrace, being the terrace specially popular in Spring and Summer.

We came here for a drink one evening to admire the Vienna skyline. However the view isn't that great, especially when sat at the bar furthest from the windows, The cocktails were good, but expensive, and we were forced to check our coats in at the cloakroom which cost an additional 4 EUR. Overall, an overrated experience. We tried to... More

The sky bar in Vienna is just good. My opinion to give a name (sky bar) must to be from 15th floor and up not at 7th floor. The service there is TERRIBLE and ROUT and the atmosphere is SMELLING FROM THE cigarettes There are so many other places to visit in Vienna much much better than this

We arrived and had a drink before our reservation, ordered and Roland (the waiter) noted the incorrect drink. It took a while to arrive and when it did he said he would replace it, which we agreed to. We question if we are having to wait for our next drink would he let us have this one (as we were... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
