No smiles... You feel that you are unwanted here, even if prices are higher then in other bars/caffees. Staff seems to be overworked => bad management I recommend: don't go there...

Horrible service. Even in an empty bar, you have to wait half an hour until you bring your order. In the bar has not nuts, just homemade potato chips. The only reason to come here - a top view of St. Stephen's Cathedral

Good drinks if you can afford to wait. Advised senior waiter about delay, he made our waiter apologize and offered us free drinks. We had waited patiently for 25 minutes, packed up and left! Don't waste your time!

We enjoyed our drinks but found the view lacking and the bar totally dead on the Saturday night we visited in May. Bartender was friendly and the drinks were good but expensive. I hate being forced to check my coat - it wasn't crowded and could've put it next to me or on my seat. There are better bars and... More

Its a nice bar but the sky view is average, I don't see the fuss. However the menu has a nice selection of treats :)

Service was poor. I ordered a glass of champaign and the waiter took 35 minutes to bring it, after 2 polite reminders. When it finally arrived, the €20 glass of champagne, which he dropped off on the edge of the table and kept walking, was flat; the bottle had been opened a couple of days. We were polite and patient,... More

Nice central location, hip and modern decor. Couldn't get a cocktail until after 6 (we went at 4pm) only a tall drink and the waiters refused to take a photo. Besides this the venue was all good.

We had a lovely time there, had nice cakes, but average coffee. Only real critic I have is: it's a little bit overpriced....

Noticed the lift up to sky bar when walking down main street. We decided to venture up ourselves. This bar offers great views of the Cathedral and city itself. We decided to have a few drinks and although its obvious that it is a very posh place the staff are very friendly and wern't bothered we were in shorts and... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
