There's nothing I did not love about Austria, but my visit to Schonbrunn last Thanksgiving was also my first experience with any European Christmas market and I'll never forget it. It was not nearly as extravagant as the Christmas market in Vienna's city center, but the stands were all quaint and easily accessible, at least in the early days of... more

The Christmas market at the palace has almost the same vendors that are found at the other markets around Vienna. You can find such things as ornaments, cheese, and small handicrafts. more
