Variously described as the Gaudi Apartments of Vienna the building looks great from the outside but this all you can see. The rather enterprising cafe offers a screening of film about it but these are private apartments. Worth a look but you won't spend much time there. The No. 1 Tram takes you virtually outside the door (and back again)

I love this gallery and go there a few times per year. It is situated in a Hundertwasser building, treat in itself, with 2 floors about his life and works, and upstairs they have changing exhibitions, always interesting. I love it!!

This is a very interesting place on a number of levels; the artworks by Hundertwasser are beguiling and some of his concepts are quite stimulating, even though their practicality can easily be challenged (but then again, he was an artist so what else can you expect?). As a builder myself the Kunsthaus gave me some ideas but also reinforced some... More

The house, the objects, the garden, all of them are playful and with unusual shapes and colours. It is like you walked in the world of "Allice in the wonderland". Visit the small museum or at least spend some time in the garden terrace to drink a coffee. The tables, the chairs, the decorated walls and even the bathroom and... More

Worth the walk from the ring. Hundertwasser's museum was for me a pilgrimage. Between the environment, the art, and the cafe you will get a good feeling for the special scope of art he produced. Cafe was good. Shop is interesting, but I found everything very expensive (but well-crafted).

I enjoyed my visit to this museum. The first two floors are dedicated to Hundertwasser's life and work, whilst there are temporary exhibitions on the floors above. The design of the building and overall layout adds well to the experience, although I felt that the colour of the walls did not show off Hundertwasser's work at its best. The design... More

This museum isn't the biggest, or maybe even the prettiest, but it is well worth going. It's very well done, it's very informative and has lots of really great work by Hundertwasser. I would highly recommend it.

The film exhibition had a quite cool idea but was a bit boring. The other one I did not understand at all. Very weird.

This was a great experience of art and architecture that kept us interested throughout the entire tour. Well worth the walk in a cool neighborhood. It was December so we did not have the full experience of the gardens but the interior spaces, permanent Hundertwasser collection, and current Bassman & Himmel exhibit was a great mix of the familiar and... I loved the garden area with trees, restaurants with open air seating and the casual meeting area for friends
