This museum isn't the biggest, or maybe even the prettiest, but it is well worth going. It's very well done, it's very informative and has lots of really great work by Hundertwasser. I would highly recommend it.

The film exhibition had a quite cool idea but was a bit boring. The other one I did not understand at all. Very weird.

This was a great experience of art and architecture that kept us interested throughout the entire tour. Well worth the walk in a cool neighborhood. It was December so we did not have the full experience of the gardens but the interior spaces, permanent Hundertwasser collection, and current Bassman & Himmel exhibit was a great mix of the familiar and... I loved the garden area with trees, restaurants with open air seating and the casual meeting area for friends

We visited Kunsthaus Wien on our last day in Vienna. I love Gaudi and found the Kunsthaus and abstract art exhibition a wonderful quirky alternative to the opulence of the palaces, museums and art collections usually visited in Vienna. We started by having coffee in the café with its amazing interior and this was an experience in itself. Even the... More

Wow, if funky architecture with an "Alice in Wonderland" feel is your kind of thing, this is a must see! We thoroughly enjoyed the walk to this non-central location. The temporary exhibitions for Lillian Bassman & Paul Himmel are slightly pricey, so we instead appreciated the Hundertwasser architecture and art after visiting the Tian Bistro Restaurant for a delicious light... I knew Hundertwasser's the colourful paintings and architectural designs since many years but never had the chance to read about him or visit an exhibition related to his work. Kunsthaus is rather difficult to be found in Vienna but it worths the effort. The permanent exhibition is dedicated to Hundertwasser's work. Take time and watch the artist's bio film. He says... Even though all of Hundertwasser's art isn't to my taste, I love his architecture and his visionary outlook. The exhibition (artwork, architectural models etc) and the building it's housed in, gave me a fascinating insight into the man's philosophy and life. Thankfully we all have different tastes in art, so some people will enjoy this place as much as I... More

We went there for SHOEting stars exhibition during Vienna fashion week. I would kindly advice every fashion enthusiastic to visit this exhibition because personally, I found it very inspiring. Exhibition does not even include futuristic and artistic shoes, but also videos and photographies.

One big disappointment, fairly small, hard to get to it, and it’s style was not to my taste. After visiting Gaudy places and creations in Barcelona this place looks like a poor childish imitation. I am sorry for the time I wasted; there are many other places to visit in Vienna so my recommendation is that you can skip I... More
