I'm not religious, but going to hear Mass and the Vienna Boys Choir at the Hofburg Imperial Chapel last sunday was a religious experience. I can't describe the simple, regal beauty of this small chapel, and how beautiful the Boys Choir-and the regular choir sounded. Truly an amazing experience. More

We paid to have the front rows of a church service,it was a real scam .You sit in church like a regular church goer and see a choir of mature gentlemen on the alter. You do not see the boys until the end of mass when they do sing one song infront of you and then leave. To top it all they... More

Absolutely loved the presentation. Were fortunate to be outside when the boys came out and they were kind enough to pose for pictures. A must do in Vienna. More

We booked ahead directly using the email contact on the website of the Hofburg Chapel http://www.hofburgkapelle.at/ We dealt directly with them by email and paid on arrival. They will email you a confirmation and instructions. If you don't arrive at least 15 minutes before the start they will release your seats. I recommend paying for the best seats - 29... More

Paid about 150 dollars u.s. To a ticket broker for seats in the second row of the first balcony. You dont see the boys until the end of mass, when they stand in front of. The altar and perform one short song. Otherwise they are intergrated into the mass, percorming from the upper balcony out of sight to most. They... More

Imagine a snowy Christmas Day morning queuing in the cold waiting to go into the Royal Chapel for Christmas morning mass, and entering the chapel for the first time, whilst the Vienna Boy's Choir sing the most superb mass, and ending with Silent Night sung in German, I sat there with big fat tears rolling down my cheeks. It was... More

Vienna is a beautiful city. The hotels however leave much to be desired as you have to carry your own luggage, very few have a/c. It is difficult to communicate without knowing German. However it is still worth visitng due to the scenic beauty of the city. More

We paid for seats on the floor to see the boys choir. We ended up seeing them after they came down from the loft over our heads and behind us. They performed one song and then left. This is after sitting through an hour long service and hearing them sing about 3 times. To help explain some of the other... More

I attended the Th. Ludovico da Vittoria „Missa 4 toni” on december the 5th at the Hofburg Chapel. I found in internet that there were different ticket option: 5, 14, 17, 21, 26 or 29 euros. "Tickets at 21 euros don't offer sight to the service of the mass, only a little view to the choir, tickets at 5 euros... More
