Put this right up there on your places to see list when visiting Innsbruck. It is the main pedestrian street in the Old Town. Start at the Triumph Arch and continue all the way to the Golden Roof. It's about a mile of continuous photo opportunities and fantastic people watching. Try it you'll love it. Oh and stop at one... More

This might be considered as the main street to the Old Town. In the middle of the street is the column with Mary’s statue on top which is the main landmark of the place, a real meeting point. On both sides of the street there are shops, restaurants and some companies/business establishments. But the main attraction for me is the... More

This pedestrian street leads to the old town proper. It has sights, restaurants and churches and, good people watching too! See you there!

This is where you have to start exploring Innsbruck. A very wide street, mainly pedestrian, with shops and restaurants, leading all the way to the old city centre.

Great and tasty! :-) Cause we was in the Innsbruck in the days of Christmas vacations and there was many street food markets there. And the best Gluhwein in my life!

For the first few days of our stay in Innsbruck the statue was off limits to the public whilst it was undergoing cleaning and maintenance so it was only possible to see the top half, but we were lucky enough to see the new gleaming facade a couple of days before we left the city. It's a very popular meeting... More

A lttle too touristy for my me. The large mall built into the old buildings is out of place and made me sad.....reallt ruined the ambiance. Liked that this just for pedestrians, however and nice public space to sit for a bit.

Innsbruck is all about charm. This ancient street harbors some fine and subtle art amidst the Alps. The charm surpasses the shopping itself. Although there are abundant shops and they can be fun too, one should save some time to appreciate the combined charm of art and scenery.
