The whole St Peter`s district is compact, but very appealing. We particularly liked the cemetry, which is not gloomy but provided an uplifting experience.

The paintings were beautiful & stunning. Loved walking around the inside of the church and seeing all the history. The grounds outside were pretty amazing too.

Not everybody finds this church as it is situated in the courtyard of the St. Peter monastery. But I am sure you will love it.

Christmas 2012 - We took the family here to eat in the "oldest" restaurant in the world (est. 803 ad) Food was good, value was what you would expect for touristy area. Overall worth the visit to say you've eaten here.

This restaurant has been open non stop since 802! The food is great and the location is charming. In December drop by for mulled wine in the courtyard in the evening

A very beautiful church within the encircling walls of the St. Peter's monastery. The baroque interior is lovely.

So this is the oldest restarant in all of Europe built in 803-we got a lovely table in what looked like anolder part of thebuilding, which was very cool. Our waiter was exceptionally nice and very helpfull. The food was very good and the wine was great. It was a little more pricey than most other places, but they had... More

An historic, established restaurant with great ambience and a varied selection of traditional Austrian specialties in the old city. Initially we thought the restaurant was too 'elegant' for what we were wearing, but saw other diners dressed informally. We had a table for two next to a window where we could look out on St. Peter's square. We thoroughly enjoyed... More

This is a small beautiful church which is capped by a distinctive onion steeple and is fronted by a large open square. Enter through its lovely doors and be treated to the baroque interior with rococco trimmings. There are many paintings on the walls and ceilings. Overall found this church to be a visual delight, with additional details in the... More
