This place was great fun! Slightly spoiled by smokers, but isn’t everywhere in Europe? The place is a little hard to find, just keep your eyes out for the small signs right over the doors. We went there for a beer and stayed for a long time. The History Channel rates this facility as the number one beer garden and the number one beer in the world. I LOVED this place. If you like beer, food and good conversation, go here. Many locals enjoy this place. First get a medium size beer or a large beer. Then go and buy your plate of food. This is a beer hall run by Monks and believe me - it is the best beer I have tasted, which is from an experienced and well travelled person!! Definitely worth a visit and a stein (or 5!). No food served but a small area outside main hall where you can buy food like cheeses meats, etc. more
