A very good cultural experience

Salzburg's Old Town is a very good cultural experience by ancient and typical streets where the imaginary gains space and we can travel through time

Almost certainly, this is the reason that you've travelled to Salzburg, and it certainly doesn't disappoint! From the Salzburg Opera Hall to Mozart's birthplace, there's something to see around every corner, and all together is a relatively small area, so it's easy to walk around - which is just as well as cars are generally prohibited, and the famous horse... We were in the town in December; in the winter time. Everything was cowered in snow; the streets, the parks. Yet, everything was nice. I can just imagine how nice the city is during the spring or summer.

Had a days visit to Salzburg during our Leger Holiday Spectacular Austria tour, we had a guided tour which in the 2hrs it lasted took in the Old Town, the Cathedral, Mozarts birth house, and associated sights. We then had time to explore on our own, the old town streets were busy, you could even do your Christmas decoration shopping,... More

Salzburg's old town is the perfect example for a Central-European historical attraction: narrow streets, old buildings, beautiful architecture, glamour.

A charming old town to walk around, plenty to see and do, not feeling super crowded even when the famous Salzburg Festival was going on when we visited there. Very enjoyable town.

It was great to walk by the streets of Salzburg's Old Town. Amazing buildings. Passing through narrow streets where you can end up to a nice cafe between the buildings. Full of culturel activites. If you ever stop by Salzburg that's a must see area.

If you're in Salzburg, you walk around th r Old Town. It's what you do. Here, all of the immense beauty of the city is packed into tight, pedestrian-only streets with quaint shops and beautiful buildings. Wander around and try to keep your mouth closed as you attempt to comprehend how a place can be THIS beautiful.
