Super helpful tourist information lady will happily chat with you about what you should see in the time you have in Salzburg in flawless English (not that I'm one of those tourists who thinks everything should be in your language but it is useful for tourist information considering my German is so rusty it barely holds together!). The official tour... More

The tourist office offers an hour tour in English for 9 Euros (20% off with a Salzburg card) at 12:15 daily. You get a yellow 'reservation' ticket and then show up in front of the office at 12:10. Our tour was excellent and gave us many insights into the city's history, inhabitants, economy etc. We learned a lot and felt... More

The birth place of Mozart, what more can you ask! This city was amazing, beautiful river canals, castles, museums, restaurants; just take a walk throughout the city will be a memorable experience or Take a horse carriage trip and enjoy the cathedral and the multiple sites that this city has to offer. A bit expensive but definitely worth it.

Me and my family visited Europe last summer (August) and one of the beautiful places we went was Salzburg Austria. We drove from Plzen Czech Republic to Salzburg Austria. It was a very scenic drive because we saw the magnificent Austrian Alps. We stayed in Bed and Breakfast place that was located on op of a hill that gave us... More

We went in here on our 2nd day here to ask about the Saltzburg card which gives access to all public transport, museums and other attractions in the city. The staff were helpful and gave us a brochure that allowed us to understand how we could save money. The card will almost certainly save you money if you are staying... More

This is incredible value. We paid 35 Euros for a 3 day pass and worked out that we had got 100 Euros worth of value out of it.

We took the train from Munich to Salzburg for the day. It rained all day and got really cool by the time we got back to Munich. But Iain and Bernie were the greatest hosts. It was the highlight of our 6 week European tour. Being from Texas, we are not bashful. So we asked plenty of questions and Iain... More

We went with Radius Tours to Salzburg. I think that visiting Salzburg was the highlight of our trip to Munich. Our tour guide Maxin Rider was the greatest and really gave us a great view of what to see in this city. We only had one day to see Salzburg and chose to do a tour but you could spend... More
