We visited on a Sunday, the whole atmosphere was stunning, the inside was beautiful to look at and the sound of the organ and choir singing made the hairs stand up on the back of my neck.

We popped in on our way past and found it a charming church. We spotted that on the following Sunday they were celebrating mass with the Hayden Nelson Mass we went ad it was well worth going to. Beware the 9am start though!

The mood in the church is the most striking thing for me. As others have stated, it's not the grand tourist sight, but it's worth seeing it. I didn't encounter any visiting restrictions by the way (visited on a Sunday afternoon).

This church is a hidden gem and well worth seeking out when in Salzburg Old Town. The detail within the church is wonderful and whilst it is perhaps not as grand as some of the other churches it has nonetheless a certain charm. If you enjoy visiting churches don't miss this one.

I went to mass on Sunday, and the church was beautiful! It was so solemn! They also had amazing Mozart music at 9.00 a.m. mass. I recommend to wake up early and experience a real Catholic church!

This is well worth seeking out. The interior is absolutely beautiful and kept us enchanted for almost half an hour. It amazed us that this church was entirely free to look around, and features so much beautiful art, ceiling frescos, ornate sculptures etc.

Inhale the Special atmosphere of this unique church. Attend a ceremony. My Special recommendation, when there is no ceremony, and Access is limited, sneek-in thru the side eentrance (it says entrance not permitted) and make your self-guided tour. A Little bit mysterious.

To appreciate the beauty and design of a very historic church you have to how inside and ask how they accomplished all the detail in the interior.

It's so simply done, and quite legendary - dates back to the 8th century! It was a fresh change after so many grandiose cathedrals, Im sure everyone would feel the same way. Spectacular.
