Easy access, impresive church

Right downtown, this was an easy walk from other attractions in the area. It was definitely worth a stop if you're in Salzburg! Beautiful.

Went in on our rainy day self-guided tour of the old city and while it is worth a stop, it wasn't as impressive as the Dom. However, the inside has some interesting figures and you can access an info phone for a price in multiple languages.

While we were walking in the old city of Salzburg, we discovered this beautiful Gothic church. We especially liked the ceiling. It was quite different from other churches. The ceiling looks like tilted pentagons and triangles. It's quite beautiful! There were also many altars.

This church is very large with many side altars. Almost all the altars hold special reliquaries. One of the many fine churches in the Salzburg Innen Stadt.

This church is very interesing, since there are many styles to find in it : A romanesque facades, gothic belfry, baroque Altars, gothic ceilings... It was even more impressive for me than the big Cathedral!

This church was much simpler than all the others we visited on our holiday and by far the darkest. It was interesting, but lives in the shadow of its grander cousins - the Dom and St Peter's Church.

Wow the spire is really high. Gothic architecture. It looks plain on the outside but the inside is interesting. Simple but beautiful. Right in the centre of old town, next to the Dom.

Definitely worth popping if you have a few minutes. Beautiful gold finished ceilings to look at while taking a little break from the old town streets.

Great atmosphere in this very old church: must visit! Very different from the mainly baroque churches of the city centre, with very interesting historical background. Great for concerts too.
