There are five pools and very nice facilities including an almost 70 m. long waterslide. The complex is among the largest in Austria and thanks to the nice grassmeadows you can always find a spot for your self. Leopoldskron is fantastic for children with not less than three pools for children. All with sunprotection. One for the smallest with a depth of 20 cm. Including a small creek. One with 30 cm depth. And a bigger with a "learn to swim" area where the waterdepth goes from 0 to 60 cm. For adults there is a 50m Olympic pool. « less

This place is such a beauty! One cannot but stop for a while and admire the scenery and the whole environment... Even if it is not accessible to outsiders as this is a private place, the beauty of the Leopoldskron mirrored on the lake is so calming for one's senses..to get there: get bus 25 and alight at nonntall..here you... A must go place in warm weather with great lake and swimming pool with slides. Wonderful views of mountain and castle. People told me also popular area in winter when the lake freez as it is man made shallow lake.

Great, well maintained pool for all. If visiting for longer, get a pass for all the Freibaeder, 10 pass for 2 or 3 kids, can use same pass. Lovely, fun slides and good spring and diving boards.

My friend and I spent a few days in Salzburg and decided to go here one day as the weather was scorching. It was a bit hard to find as hardly anyone seemed to know it or know which bus to take but we got there in the end. It was €4.40 to get in and then we hired some... More

Hidden gem of a pool, which seems to be missed by the tourists. Spotlessly clean open-air lido, very cheap and great fun, with slides and chutes and minigolf as well..... Easy to spend an afternoon or more here. And just a short walk from great views of Schloss Leopoldskron, for the Sound of Music fans!

If the weathers nice then you have to come here! There's a pool for all ages and swimmers. A trickle/foot splash bit for your toddlers, a pool which is split into two parts by a buoyed rope to indicate the two different depths. The more shallow half was ideal for my two children (10 and 11) whilst the deeper side... More

This place is a mix of many of things to see. If combined with visit to palace, it is even great. Eating is no constraint since it has many joints. Always better to carry towel for a good shower. A good visit for children also in lawns.

Swimming pools, water slides, mini-golf...a great way to spend a hot day with kids! The park also has large grassy areas to lay a blanket/towel and several snack bars, a great way to enjoy some relaxation like a Salzburger. Bring a towel and a few euros for a locker/lunch.

Nice views around, green hills, mountains with glacier, another side of the Salzburg Castle. It has two very big pools, lot of grass, a few restaurants/cantines for snacks, bier or ice-cream... The entrance costs 4.30 pp (and 2.80 if visited after 15:00). Combine it with a visit to the Palace
