It was quite difficult for us to find the enterance to above but we did it. The place from above it quite well, the city view from there is great.

Fantastic outdoor swimming pool. Lovingly called Lepi by Salzburgers. There are five pools and very nice facilities including an almost 70 m. long waterslide. The complex is among the largest in Austria and thanks to the nice grassmeadows you can always find a spot for your self. Leopoldskron is fantastic for children with not less than three pools for children. All with sunprotection. One for the smallest with a depth of 20 cm. Including a small creek. One with 30 cm depth. And a bigger with a "learn to swim" area where the waterdepth goes from 0 to 60 cm. For adults there is a 50m Olympic pool.

Swimming pools, water slides, mini-golf...a great way to spend a hot day with kids! The park also has large grassy areas to lay a blanket/towel and several snack bars, a great way to enjoy some relaxation like a Salzburger. Bring a towel and a few euros for a locker/lunch.

Nice views around, green hills, mountains with glacier, another side of the Salzburg Castle. It has two very big pools, lot of grass, a few restaurants/cantines for snacks,bier or ice-cream... The entrance costs 4.30 pp (and 2.80 if visited after 15:00). Combine it with a visit to the Palace

This palace is beautifully located on a lake, and was used as the back of the Von Trapp family home int he Sound of Music movie. Be sure to view the palace from the far side of the lake--a really nice view.
