Beautiful atmosphere to dine and listen to Mozart, classically done by performers on the string instruments and the two vocalists. I was not expecting to hear the vocals but they were a pleasure, as they interacted very well with each other and the audience. You will start off listening to Mozart, followed by appetizer, back to Mozart, followed by entrée,... More

I was a bit nervous after reading some less than enthusiastic reviews but my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the performance and the meal. The musicians were excellent and the vocalists really knew how to "perform" so the audience could understand the music without understanding the lyrics (which were in Italian and German as Mozart originally wrote them). By seating... More

Oct 4 The Mozart Dinner Concert was a special occasion despite all the highs we've had during this 3 week trip. We arrived into Salzburg later than we wished since the heavy traffic due to construction slowed us considerably. Checking into our luxe rooms at Hotel Sacher Salzburg at 5:30, we RDV in the lobby by 6:40 to begin a... More

We were thrilled to enjoy a Mozart concert in the palace. The walk from our hotel across the river was special. The musicians clearly enjoyed performing and we all enjoyed listening.

The evening was enjoyable thanks to the fun and diverse crowd we were seated with. The music was decent with hilariously cheesy performers. The food was not good and the servers weren't especially warm. We are glad we tried it once, but there are much better food and music options in Salzburg

For a reasonable price, you can enjoy the music and opera parts of Mozart's popular operas. There were pieces of each opera between each course which made for a bit of a long meal...but the setting was lovely and after all, it was a dinner theatre, not the Opera House. Walking to St. Peter's itself is a feast for the... More

Before booking the tickets, we had called and asked about two things: 1. How many vocals/singers would the concert have (since we wanted mainly instrumental music) 2. And whether the dinner can be made vegetarian. 1. We were told the concert would have about 20% vocals and 80% only instrumental pieces. It turned out to be reverse and hence the... More

The candle light flickering in this baroque ball room, while wonderful singers sang excerpts from the Magic Flute, The Marriage of Figaro and Don Giovanni was worth every penny. The food was adequate and the wine very expensive, but how often will you have the opportunity to imagine you are a contemporary audience of Motzart in his own city? So... More

We enjoyed a Mozart Dinner Concert as part of our recent visit to Salzburg and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Tickets were 54 Euros, which I would say was very good value for the meal and entertainment that lasted over 3 hours. We enjoyed a 3 course meal from the time of Mozart as well as excerpts from 3 operas between... More

The dinner was okay, not fantastic. Best portion was the potato, yummy. The music was lovely (the two songs the quintet played were by far my favourite part of the evening.) The singing was okay (I guess I'm not a fan.) The evening was FAR TOO LONG! We were told to be there by 1800h, dinner starts at 1900h and... More
