An interesting, and rather unusual clock-tower, on the way from the Old Town to Schlossberg. Takes a 10-15 minute walk from the Old Town, but you can also take the cable car to the top of Schlossberg and go down a bit on foot. Gives you a great view of the entire Graz and that's about it.

The view from the top is worth the trip to Graz alone, but the beer garden/restaurant were quite lovely as well. We had to take the stairs to the top as wait for the elevator would have caused us to miss the sunset, but a little physical never hurt anyone right? The only thing it damaged was my pride as... As senior citizens we decided to walk up to the Uhrturm and at a steady pace from the city's Hauptplatz it was an enjoyable walk. When one arrives in Graz it's one of the first things to be seen and is well worth a visit. The place can be reached by a lift and also around 276 rather steep steps... More

If you are in Graz the Uhrturm (Clock Tower) should be definitely on your sightseeing list. The clock is actually working. Can you find the peculiarity of the big and small hand? Up there you'll have a beautiful view on the city of Graz, even in winter.

You should see the view from the top. It's rally amazing. The "few " steps shouldn't be a problem. Remember take a bottle of water with you.

On the top of this lovely city you find the iconic clock-tower, a church, ruins and a well. Perfect place to start your visit of Graz! From the top you can view the city and surroundings, and maps tell you what you see. You can choose three ways to enter: Stairs, a bit steep and demanding (7-10 minutes?) Walkway, (10-15... More

This is THE landmark of Graz. Go here an hour before sunset, you will have great views over the city during daylight, sunset and dark- every time very spectacular! There are few very nice restaurants (with the view) up on the hill. During the christmas time there will also be a christmas market. You can get up by elevator, stairs... More

The entire city lays below your feet! Old red roofs and modern glass-made walls, spires of the state houses and onion domes of churches - all of them are 70m below your eyes! And the antient clock tower rises behind you! Uhrturm (the clock tower) looks concisely and asceticl - the clock-faces (there are fout of them) are simply painted... More
