The Schloss is now used by the police but the courtyard is lovely and one can wander around and cross the moat to the Park. The views are superb and we were glad we climbed up to view the rivers and the town. The Schlossgalerie was closed by the time we got there

the main sight of steyr, a beautiful old castle that has been lovingly restored. in the courtyard there are famous statues of little men with traditional costumes and jobs. they also keep alpine ibexes (capricorns?) at the castle and you can see them chilling in the sun or jumping around. in the summer they always have theater and musical festivals... More
