Have visited here many times, to have lunch, to take in an art exhibit and share an evening with friends. It is a lovely place so well maintained and truly alive with the art of the area and Eruope - love it!

Lentos Art Museum houses some incredible modern art and often most interesting exhibitions. It is a beautiful building that changes color when it gets dark. The locations is very beautiful.

The museum is a lot smaller than it seems from the outside. A LOT. The temporary exhibition left me cold, and quite frankly, I didn't understand what the guard was protecting there (seriously, you could not have ruined it). The rest was a bit more interesting. Still, not my favorite museum of its kind, but there is a lot of... More

Doesn't have a single painting worth going out of your way for. Has a few paintings by big name artists, but not their best stuff at all. The building is large and felt empty as they don't have that many pieces of art. The only cool thing about the place is the way they light it up at night.

Not for the faint hearted. It is a small collection with a handful of stand out pieces, and a number which do challenge the visitor. The current Cathy Wilkes visiting exhibition is bleak and baffling. I confess I left pondering how the pieces which span 11 years fitted together, though the large exhibition space worked really well. The permanent audio... More

I'm a huge modern art enthusiast so I had a great time here. For 2 Euro you can get an audio tour. It's a relatively small collection but provides insight on Austrian artists. Lighting is natural wherever possible providing good lighting for the pieces. On the first floor is a small collection of up and coming Austrian artists. I appreciate... More

If you love trash art, you visit the right museum by visiting lentos. The visit of various exhibitions of international and national artists sums up to that perception.

This museum of modern art, really is modern. I did not understand much of the art we saw, but the facility was very interesting.

This is a complete waste of money. A huge building with nothing in it apart from a few pieces of modern art which are absolutely terrible. There is an entry fee of €8 which is a complete robbery. Cloakroom and toilets are in the basement and the exhibition area is on the first floor. Avoid this place at all costs.... More

It's an art museum...If you like modern contemporary art you may find this interesting...If like me you don't then this may not be your cup of tea. The building itself is very striking architecturally, particularly at night. Nice setting too just by the mighty Danube. There is a decent cafe on the ground floor to add. Personally that would be...
