Good local wines and Austrian dishes make this a good place to visit for lunch after the climb to the nearby castle. The food was very tasty and the waiter helpful over the menu.
(I only found reference to this place under 'nightlife', but it's proper place belongs under restaurants.)

This is a family staffed place on the main street in Dürnstein.
In summer a nice outdoor garden in front for enjoying a glass of wine or some good food.
Inside you find the Altes Press - the old wine press- this from the 1700s - it is said to be installed before the building was erected and you will...
