Peaceful and calming visit

A lovely way to spend about 45 minutes to 1 hour. The Japanese garden has a quaint variety of plants, mini-bridges and mini-stone lanterns/pedestals. A cute and peaceful refuge

Not the first visit of the Japanese Gardens. Always a pleasure to go there to rest meditate or simply hang out with friends. But you should not forget to keep quiet :-)

Can visit it if you really have time. If you don't you wont miss much. It is really not in a very good condition. Upkeep needs tiding.

This botanical attraction has all the features of a Japanese garden albeit on a relatively small scale given that space is rare and very expensive in Monaco. The location is off the popular tourist path and would give pleasure only to those who love nature. Certainly not a priority destination unless visitors have ample time to spare and need quality... We came to this garden on the Hop On and Hop Off Tour Bus. It is a small Japanese garden and is an extremely beautiful quiet place to come. relax and wander about admiring both the trees, plants, sculptures and Koi Carp. There are many places for lovely photo opportunities. It is free entry which was a surprise.

We had used the Hop On-Hop Off bus the day we were in Monte Carlo and we were able to reach many attractions easily. One stop for us was the Japanese Gardens. It is not a large garden space, so easy to work into your day. As with all Japanese Gardens, it is restful and calming and along the waterfront.... More

Rushing back from the centre of Monte Carlo and walking through the famous Formula One tunnel, to our surprise we literally stumbled upon the Japanese garden. It is extremely beautiful with fantastic bonsai trees and ponds full of exotic fish. Definitely a must to visit.

The Japanese Gardens in Monaco are a bit surreal in the context of the extravagance of Monaco. They're an oasis of peace right on the edge of the bustle of the town. The gardens use many trees and plants that would not normally be associated with a Japanese Garden but they mostly work very well. Well worth a visit, particularly... More

The gardens are free to visit. It is very surprising to see this amount of space devoted to a garden in a prime section of the principality. It was a delight to walk through. There are entrances on both the east and west sides.
