Came apron these beautiful gardens after a visit to a nearby shopping mall (fab shops including Hediard and Sephora). You could easily miss the entrance (no entry fee). Once inside it's easy to think you have been transported to Japan. There isn't the slightest hint you are in Monte Carlo. The gardens are impeccably maintained. There are structures such as... More

A glimpse of Japan in Côte d'Azur and, definitely, the perfect 'pit stop' while you're strolling around discovering Monaco's F1 circuit. Although it's small garden, it is still perfect to take a deserved rest and enjoy some time in family, kids love it!

What's not to like ? Sea breezes and dappled shade, a tranquil space in a glorious setting. 10 out of 10.

This is a small garden but a lot of effort has been put into designing it. It is peaceful and there is a lot to enjoy and admire. One such thing is a pond containing about 20 different coloured carp. There is a sign showing the different combinations of colour and the name of that particular type of carp. There... More

I visited here with my husband as an experience to include in a blog about monaco I'm writing. Neither of us went with high expectations. All I can say is wow! The amount of photograph opportunities is astonishing. Take extra storage for your camera. You'll need it. The water features are delightful. I am definitely going back for a mini... More

The Japanese Garden is a surprising piece of calm and tranquility along the busy bay front and missed by so many coach party tourists heading down into the car park to catch their tour bus or those in the conference centre just the other side. Twisting little paths take you through carefully maintained Japanese styled gardens interspersed with ponds and... More

We must have walked past these gardens near the Grimaldi Form several times and discovered them by accident. Very Japanese -if you like that sort of thing. Enjoyed watching the massive koi carp in the pond for a while and there were some nice little bridges, stepping stones and a wooden platform viewing area. All very neat and well manicured... More

If you have even the slightest interest in formal gardening, you have to stop here. It is one of the first stops on the hop on bus--which can be very bad because there is little of interest close to the garden. By the way, it is a very short cab ride to/from the garden from the cruise ships if you... More

A peaceful haven. Many interesting trees and plants. Worth a walk through and free. Look for the fossil. Interesting facts about Japanese customs.

The garden is not huge but very pleasant, peaceful and well maintained. On top of that, it is one of the very rare FREE attractions in whole Monaco!
