Located in the old part of town, lovely building, lots of fish! Very well laid out with a good display of fish from around the world.

We visited the aquarium in November, while in Monte Carlo as a cruise port stop. It is a beautiful walk from the port to the aquarium, and even if you don't particularly care for aquariums, it is worth a visit to see the incredible sight of the building itself, set into the cliff. It wasn't crowded when we were there... More

The museum itself is a lovely building but the museum exhibits are, perhaps, a bit more limited than other museums of this type. BUT. The aquarium, which is located on the bottom 2 floors, is probably one of the best in the world both for content and display. First of all it is huge for an aquarium, so that lends... More

I loved the finding nemo fish but for adults not so much. We have all gone to aquariums and this was just another one. If you have kids this is a good attraction.

The displays are awesome, and very informative. When we went there was a section where you could touch sharks; we spent a good half hour there. At 3.00 there is also a piraña feeding which we found really cool. It's a little hidden if you're walking but a great walk!

Beautifully set up aquarium with well presented information under each tank. Would be great for children. They have both sea and land turtles (the land turtles have an enclosure on the roof). We were lucky enough to catch the piranhas being fed and that was pretty cool!

The first thing you'll notice about the aquarium is the amazingly beautiful building it's housed in..... perched on the side of a cliff! It's well laid out, but some people struggle to follow the arrows marked on the ground, so becomes quite jumbled and hectic in spots. One highlight for me was in a room near the start there is... This is a highly informative and educational as well as entertaining . Well located with signage that makes this easy to find. Probably goes without saying it is down by the water. Fascinating how this has been designed. This casino is built out over the water, one takes the elevator up and walkways lead to various destinations. One being the... More

This museum is great for children. Beautifully presented all the different species of fish, and a small collection from the ocean. You can go up to the rooftop and get beautiful views of Monaco. There is also a small play area for children.
