I went to Monte Carlo while we were touring through Cannes' Monaco then Monte Carlo and passed near the casino then having our ice cream in one of the coffes near bye. But to arch monte carol to see the casino we have to walk and walk and walk and walk cause the bus parking was a little bit far..!

There is so much to take in while in Monaco (people; the coast; the homes; the cars (if you are my 15-year old son). Skip the ridiculous entrance fee and admire this building for free from the outside. If you really must gamble, the Casino Cafe de Paris up the square had no entrance fee.

I went there while I was staying in Nice France. There are buses and trains that run back and forth all day. Monte Carlo is a beautiful city and I loved walking around just looking in the shops I can't afford. We just had to check out the Casino (after going back to the hotel and putting my fancy clothes... I never gamble at home, but I thought ah when in Monaco, live a little so set myself a limit and off I went. You need to dress pretty fancy to be allowed in and you have to show your passport as proof of age, and also to show that you are not a resident of Monaco as they are... More

We didn't gamble at the casino because minimums for the tables were high. You can go into the slot machine room for a small price. It is still fun to tour around casino and and take in the elegance. It's fun to get a picture in front of the casino as it has been featured in many movies. Also the... More

Impressive and elegant interior, opening for tourists from 2pm. Definitely worth the entrance fee (ten Euro) and ID is required to enter. Dress code appeared to be more lax than expected during the day time but dress appropriately for a more respectable visit. There is one main room included in the basic entrance fee so don't expect to be exploring... More

I have vivid and wonderful memories of this casino but when I visited it recently, with my wife, I was astonished to see how mediocre it has become. The 10€ entrance per person could have been best invested in an ice cream. Low class of clientele, cheap and dull atmosphere, nothing special except maybe the ceilings. End result: failed to... More
