We had a lot of expectations for that visit. The building itself is magnificent, but the atmosphere inside is boring. Not the magic we expected. Just a few tables opened, even if many people wanted to play, so they couldnt. The staff looked condescending and bored to be there. I guess it might be better at night.

It was a beautiful building but very snooty staff. No pictures allowed even in the lobby. The expensive cars parked outside were amazing. The men's restroom as elaborate but the women's was smaller and plain jane. Obviously they didn't cater to tourists only wealthy male gamblers. If you walked around outside to the front, there is a beautiful view of... More

The famous Casino is very disappointing to me. It's small, lack of tables or machines. The atmosphere just feel dead and sad to me. The only highlight was all the expensive cars that park right outside the hotel!

Visit the casino at night - after 10 pm to see the "real" casino life and feel like you've stepped back into a movie from the 60's. Day time is crowded, but it's a great time to see the casino "showcasing" the luxury cars of their patrons by parking them right in front. The architecture is stunning, the furnishings opulent,... Just like some of the others, you hear about the Grand Casino and the lobby is very beautiful, but just to get in the lobby you have to check your backpack or large handbag and it costs 10 euro to walk into the actual casino. Too funny! We aren't gamblers, so it was not really worth going in and the... More

You hear so much about Monte-Carlo, the casino, the glamour, etc. While the casino lobby is beautiful, and the exterior of the belle epoque style building is fantastic, the overall experience of Monte Carlo was somewhat underwhelming. We walked up to the castle, which was also a bit underwhelming - simple but not as breathtaking as many other castles and... More

Glad I went, but if it weren't for the nostalgia and the grand opulence of the place... there aren't many reasons to go back

Stopped by and played some blackjack. Craps only on Friday and Saturday. Very nice inside. The dress code was odd and different in every description I read but people were in all types of clothes - we left before 8 when I hear the dress is more formal.

We wanted to visit the Casino having been to MC several times without going in. The building is grand and striking, the gaming areas are just like any others on the planet.
