We happened to chance upon this garden when returning from the nearby "Ship & Castle" pub. It's a pleasant enough garden, and a nice place for a stroll to get away from the crowds and to enjoy the peace and quiet. Some good photo opportunites too.

Walked through here in the warmth of July. Roses past their best but what a beautiful garden. It's calm and quiet and quite poignant when you think of the beauty of the place and of princess grace. What a lovely tribute from a loving people. Would love to come back in rose season

I loved this rose garden. Unfortunately I visited with two small children and a husband that were not happy about going around the bushes, so we kind of hurried through. I could have stayed hours on my own, though.

This lovely garden is a complete reworking of a previous garden on this site. Since Princess Grace loved roses, this garden is planted entirely with hundreds of roses in a roughly semi-circular formation around a lovely bronze statue of the Princess. The sections closest to the statue are filled with roses named for the royal family: Princess de Monaco, Grace... More

A trip to the beaches and restaurants and the theatre built for the people of Monaco can walk you through the the gardens. It's a sight to see. You can walk or sit and enjoy. You can feel the happiness, sorrow and love for the the Princess and Prince Rainier. The two of them really made this Principality a destination... More

A lot of roses at the tail end of blooming but still worthwhile. Enjoyed seeing varieties named after the Monaco Royals. There are some quiet shady spots to rest and some areas planted with other annuals and perennials

Wow what a hidden gem ! It was right across the road from my hotel , it smelt amazing the roses were plentiful. Every colour shape and type you could imagine! I sat for hours with a glass or two of wine sneaked out of the hotel! Serenity in the chaos of Monaco!

A well taken care of rose garden. There were two men there pruning and dead heading the flowers.,there are many different kinds, and they are all named. For a flower lover, it was a treat!

it was opposite our hotel and we saw it everyday. Most of the roses weren't out, but they haven't really thought this through. You need to add other plants in to support the space when the roses aren't out. There's sweeping water feature around one side, which is nice, bu tit is long and low and doesn't help the space... Just in front of my hotel, I enjoyed spending some time breathing some fresh air, taking advantage of the benchs and the walkside built all around.
