I used to work in Grandvalira as a ski instructor for 5 years, and even though I worked for Vallnord for almost 10 years now, I really liked GV!! Starting from Pas de la Casa, Grau Roig, Cortals, Soldeu, Tarter to Canillo, you will find incredible views, huge valley, all kind of slops for all levels, dozens of Restaurants, free... More

We went to the same area for almost 3 weekends in a row! It is just perfect for people who are just starting out and also the more advanced ones. Being a newcomer at snowboarding I was quite intrigued by the whole area and all its people either on snowboards or skis. As it was holiday season, the area seemed... More

2nd year and this time we stayed in El Tarter rather than Soldeu. Both times the kids have really enjoyed the skiing and boarding. The ski school at El Tarter is first class and my wife who had previously given up trying to ski managed to get her confidence and cannot wait to go back next year. Apart from skiing... More

Brought the whole family skiing here in April 2015. We had a brilliant time. The Ski Instructors were excellent and catered for all needs from those needing a push to those needing a hug. Well organised and safety conscious. Good skiing for beginners and highly recommended.

Great for all levels, I was a complete beginner, my daughter who skied last year did snowboarding as A beginner, younger daughter who did improved skiing and a good snowboarder hubby! We all had a great and varied time. Ski school was fantastic, challenging for a total wuss like me, plenty of encouragement and made me challenge myself! Great area,... More

Excellent value for money. 200km of runs. Best runs are in the Soldeu area. Plenty of Apres' Ski. We were there second week of March and it was a little too warm but that's just luck. Snow was not perfect but it was sunny all week with tons of snow from a week before.

Not as beautiful as the Alps but a bit cheaper (not as cheap as it was 12 and 30 years ago. Not the best resort for good skiers unless there has been a good dump of powder if so, lots of places to ski Probably one of the best places in Europe to learn to ski for people who's first... More

We did not ski but wanted to see the mountains, We were able to stop at one of the restaurant on the top of the mountain for drinks. Great views and beautiful place to spent a few hour just enjoying the day.

It's an amazing ski resort, 250km to ski, great slopes and thematic areas, great to go with kids, friends and family. I will come back soon!

Excellent ski instructors to make your skiing experience the very best. For those skiers with a young family there are also superb facilities for the children with introducing them to skiing and fun on the snow in the Imaginarium and the Nurseries.
