Ive been coming to Soldeu for over 20 years at all times of season and I have never not been able to ski due to snow conditions, obviously, some times better than others.

We got lucky and caught a sunny day just after some fresh snow... And powder! The lifts are very nice and fast and there is plenty of slopes for all tastes. We enjoyed a great day of powder ski on very accessible and safe trails.

The ski resort is large and a large chunk of Andorra is this resort. I visited in the summer, but from looking at the trail map, it would take a couple of days to slide the same slope.

We traveled in the beginning of January and weather was excellent, very sunny and warm. Slopes were in a very good condition and they were not overcrowded. Almost no queues. Cafés on slopes are good and prices are moderates.

Lets be honest, Andorra is not the best ski destination in the world. But its fairly cheap, and they have made great new installations everywhere. Does not matter what season you come, you will surely find something to do and enjoy. Only 4 stars, simply because it cannot compare to similar resorts in France or Switzerland.

We have had lots of short trips around Europe, but once we stumbled upon Grandvalira it is now the one we choose to return to. Firstly, cost is superb. The accommodation is much better than a similar price in other parts of Europe. The ski school is the best we have ever had. The slopes are perfect for us. We... More

An incredible place to enjoy your ski/snow trip. Grandvalira contains 4 valleys (Pas de la Casa, Grau Roig, El Tarter y El Canillo) and has more than 200km of slopes (the forfeit for all valleys is around 160 euros a week). I learnt 3 years ago how to snowboard and since then I have been going every year. Valid for... More

We went back at the very end of the season (last 2 days) and the snow was still fab. Most of the lifts and slopes were open and there were great discounts on ski hire and lift passes. Skiing in the sun is great and the selection of slopes was great for beginners to experienced ski/boarders in our party. Can't... More

A good weeks skiing for a good intermediate or even advanced skier. If you take a package trip you will get a good deal on ski hire, tuition and lift passes. The pistes are well groomed and very clean. The lift system is good and there are many kilometres of runs available. The ski school is regarded as one of... More
