Make sure if you are travelling up to Troodos have a warm jumper or coat in your bag, because after coming from a warmer area the temperature drops very quickly and gets cold. Some nice little cafe and the meals are inexpensive. More

In the rather depleted panorama of Cyprus' attractions, these UNESCO World Heritage sites really stand out. I guess a combination of very dry climate, mild winters and good safekeeping make the 8-900 years old frescos look like they were painted a few months ago.
