We called on our way to visit two monasteries - Chrysorrogiatissa and Agia Moni near Panagia -and were welcomed when we asked if we might taste some of their wines. We were shown into the restaurant and admired the wonderful views while the young lady went to bring a selection of wines. After tasting we were happy to purchase a... More

We stopped at this winery after a tour at the Monastery for some much needed refreshments. The wines were quite nice and staff very friendly. The view is pretty amazing as well. Worth a stop.

Situated in the Paphos district on a mountain peak, the Winery is close to the village of Ayios Photios on the way to the Monastery of Chryssoroyiatissa. The grapes are hand-picked and processed with the most recent wine technology not long after they are collected. The plentiful sunshine on the island the great height and other important factors give excellent... More

A beautiful drive into the hills from Paphos. This was my third visit to Kolios and again was not disappointed. We began with a short tour of the winery. After our party, 17 of us, were directed to our table giving us a magnificent view of the valley below. We were provided with unlimited quantities of red, white & rose... More

Went up to the winery for a short visit while out for a drive in the mountains, had a glass of their wine sitting in the restaurant with a spectacular view, peace and tranquility on a hot day. Had a tour of the winery and obviously purchased a couple of bottles of their wine which we have enjoyed many times... More

A lovely drive up from Paphos to this winery along some steep and winding roads. After tasting some of the excellent wines they produce we were given a short but very entertaining and informative tour of the winery and cellars. Then we had lunch. A Meze which was delicious and just kept on coming as we sat in the dining... More

we travelled here for a wine tasting and lunch and were really impressed. We tried a number of the wines before being given a short tour. Lunch was served in a room with amazing views out across the vineyard and surrounding farmland with views for mils across the valley (the winery is at 3000ft above sea level!) The lunch turned... Kolios Winery is one of the biggest producer of Cypriot Wines (Statos 99, Maratheftiko, Persephony, Cornetto and many others). The winery is situated on the road between Chrissorogiatissa Monastery and Statos-Agios Fotios. The people there are very amable and proud to present their wines. You can see the barrels where the wines are stored and the wineyards situated in a... More

The drive up to Kolios and the views from their restaurant were superb. The Wine tasting is fantastic and the food plentiful, authentic and excellent. This is a wonderful family run winery and definitely worth a visit, it was one of the highlights of our trip. Booking is recommended. We went in November and there were a few turned away... More
