Most bars are closed but flairs in good. Nice to experience but not full of active bars as we would expected.

Obviously a very popular area for tourists years ago is now like a wild west ghost town with closed bars and with a not very nice feel. we only went down there once and would not want to go back.

You must visit this street. Its the only street to visit!! I'm nearly 45 and had a fab time. I've read mixed reviews but don't agree with any of them! Cracking night out

Thought this area was very dirty and parts of it run down. The reps outside the bars were also very pushy. However I can see the appeal for the young ones.

Bar Street is an experience. As an old person I don't tend to join in with crowds of young people but I must have hit the right crowd as we all seemed to enjoy the fun that was in the air during my visit to this street which is all bars.

If you visit during the day it is like a ghost town, very few places are open. At night it picks up a bit and there are some nice restaurants and bars. The best in the area are Friends, Baywatch and the Flintstones, always busy. There are some noisier bars and clubs for the teens. There are an awful lot... More

It was never a place that I would really have frequented, but now, it is like a street in 'Dodge City' or 'Tombstone'. Travel around the corner to the left of 'Bar Street' and you will come to the wonderful 'Flintstones Bar' which, fortunately, attracts a more mature clientele who don't need any persuading to enter the bar. Lots of... More

I wont go into too much detail as many have and I'd just be repeating others, but I can confirm that I was deeply let down by Bar Street from my previous visit 12 years ago. I wasn't here to party this time as I'm 34 and had 3 yo son by my side :) but back when I was... More
