This street just gets worse every time we visit Paphos. Only a couple of dodgy bars open now. Everthing else is derelict. Evidence of drug taking litter the street along with rubbish and broken glass. This must be putting people off of visiting Paphos. Needs sorting soon.

This area is in a DREADFUL state and needs a revamp big time. It is all run down and delapitated. most of the establishments are closed and in a terrible state.

The once thriving Bar Street in Pathos is now a ghost town! only a couple of very noisy bars/clubs left standing, i much preferred to go in to the revamped pub called Le Grande, it is a family run bar (father and son) their drinks prices are very cheap, he even has a happy George, the owner likes to do... If you wonder into bar street during the day it is like an abandoned town, think famagusta and you are not far wrong! Come in the evening and the place is lively....like really lively....cheap shots...coctails....and of course plenty of drunken teens throwing their guts up! We had a laugh here for a few hours...but its not really my cup of... More

Although a shadow of it's former glory there are still a few good bars to found and some nearby taverns worth a try with reasonably priced food. It's fair to say that the surfeit of All Inclusive holidays gas led to the decline of what used to be a vibrant and thriving part of the economy. Still worth a visit... More

I have a bar down bar Street with the comments I totally agree not all... Where some places do serve the lower cheap quality other don't, like everyone commenting I don't agree serving something I would not drink myself or any of my family members... Problem is people do complain about this but carry on going to those places filling... More

Very empty and abandoned. Used to better but now barely anyone goes there. Resturants there are closed and the bars there have bad music and disgusting food.

we walked through the area during the day time and found the place to be awful with most of the bars closed down and in a poor state of repair, the ones that were open didn't seem to have many customers
