Myself and a friend were driving back from Latchi when we noticed signs for the Sterna Winery so we both decided to take a look out of curiosity. We were both made to feel extremely welcome by the owners and there was no Pressure to purchase any of the Wines. There is a little museum at the back with various displays... More

Just out for a drive in the countryside and found this winery with so much history and so much more to offer. Savvas, made us so welcome and we tasted several wines. We were luck to arrive when we did as there was two coach loads of tourists expected. Certainly worth a visit and an interesting drive. There is no... More

The wines are very poor quality and over priced. The man who ran the show was extremely loud and intimidating, and when I said 1 bottle please he said they come in pairs I stuck out for the one bottle which he bashed down on the table and I bashed down the 10 euros nasty piece of work avoid!!!!!!

The wines are of poor quality and more expensive than in supermarkets. There are much better wineries nearby with good wines and better prices like Vasilikon and Kolios. The products they sell are souvenirs you find in tourist shops in Nicosia and other places. They offer bread & olives for the wine tasting which is nice, but they set the... More

Nice winery with 8 different wines and after dinner drinks to try. Wine tasting is free and they serve a small dish with olives and bread. Original cave where the Maratheftiko is stored for 10 years( definitely their best wine, it comes in a one and a half liter bottle), a very quaint little "wine museum" and a great house... More

We visited this winery in 2005, and bought some beautiful wine, most of which we drank straight away. Just opened a bottle of the dry red - amazing! Yes it is tiny place but well worth a visit, especially if you like your reds. We had a great time when we visited, and they even managed to entertain a 9yo.

Finding the winery was a little bit difficult but parking was good when reached, the tour of the museum was fine, but it's not large so it only takes 10mins or so to walk around. The actual wine tasting was good, and the talk on the different wines they produce was interesting and informative, you taste 8 different products, and... More

We wanted to visit a really small, local winery whilst staying in Latchi, and this was the closest (just). Although the owner is obviously trying to increase cash flow by selling tourist tat, if you ignore it and just concentrate on the wine, as we did, they we had no complaints. Ok, it wasn't the proper way to taste wine,... More

We had a choice of a few wines, a shaps and port to try with a choice of either dry or sweet wine and snacks. There was also a display of how wine used to be made, a local house and a gift shop with the wine on offer to taste for sale. Lovely locally grown wine on offer.
