The wines are of poor quality and more expensive than in supermarkets. There are much better wineries nearby with good wines and better prices like Vasilikon and Kolios. The products they sell are souvenirs you find in tourist shops in Nicosia and other places. They offer bread & olives for the wine tasting which is nice, but they set the... More

Nice winery with 8 different wines and after dinner drinks to try. Wine tasting is free and they serve a small dish with olives and bread. Original cave where the Maratheftiko is stored for 10 years( definitely their best wine, it comes in a one and a half liter bottle), a very quaint little "wine museum" and a great house... More

We visited this winery in 2005, and bought some beautiful wine, most of which we drank straight away. Just opened a bottle of the dry red - amazing! Yes it is tiny place but well worth a visit, especially if you like your reds. We had a great time when we visited, and they even managed to entertain a 9yo.

We first visited this place a few years ago a winery and small museum which was quite interesting on arrival we were greeted by savvas lovely guy very funny invites you to take a look at the museum and then tells you a little about the vineyard and it's history then there is also a wine tasting of a few... Finding the winery was a little bit difficult but parking was good when reached, the tour of the museum was fine, but it's not large so it only takes 10mins or so to walk around. The actual wine tasting was good, and the talk on the different wines they produce was interesting and informative, you taste 8 different products, and... More

We wanted to visit a really small, local winery whilst staying in Latchi, and this was the closest (just). Although the owner is obviously trying to increase cash flow by selling tourist tat, if you ignore it and just concentrate on the wine, as we did, they we had no complaints. Ok, it wasn't the proper way to taste wine,... More

We had a choice of a few wines, a shaps and port to try with a choice of either dry or sweet wine and snacks. There was also a display of how wine used to be made, a local house and a gift shop with the wine on offer to taste for sale. Lovely locally grown wine on offer.

This little winery is worth a visit if you are staying locally. I'm not too sure I would wish to travel any real distance to visit. We were well looked after and the tastes of wine were good but they were only a little sip of each

Sterna Winery is located in Kathikas village, being the best thing to see in the area. The place itself looks more like a souvenir shop, with many things to buy, unrelated to wines (like soaps, fridge magnets and pens). You can see a small cellar where some 10 years old Maratheftiko bottles are kept inside, a so-called museum (just some... More

Free entry but not what I would call a museum that explains how wine is made . In France wineries we have visited a guide has taken you round and explained the process. Not here just one room with static displays. It was good from the opportunity to taste the wine but you did feel under pressure to buy some.
