Seeing an amphitheatre during the day is nice, but seeing in use at night is much better. This is a small one seating perhaps 500 people. But like all amphitheatres, it has great acoustics. We arrived late and got one of the last places on the upper most row and was still a great seat. You can park very close... More

Good mosaic floors, large site, lighthouse, ruins, odeon. Too hot in the middle of the day because naturally it is all open.

Parts of this attraction have a very thoughtful somewhat over engineered tent which keeps the sun off visitors. Ancient theater is used for real performances

Im a huge fan of photography and also going to explore and see good history spots. The amphitheatre is well worth going to see - the views overlooking the sea are also breath taking and I was also to get some great snaps!!!

This little gem, just outside the tourist area is a treasure. Again, very hot and little shade so choose your visiting time carefully to experience the full pleasure.

This was really a trip back in time to 2-3-4 AD its a must do visit if you go to Paphos, and doesn't cost the earth neither to get to look around how Paphos was in 3AD, you will need 3 hours to go round the site which is part of a Unesco protected site.

we went as a family with 6 children between us, they all enjoyed it. free to roam about, great for them to keep shouting and singing to find the "echo", and burn off some energy which eased the adults stress levels haha. the mosaic floor is impressive. very interesting and lovely to be up close and personal,

I loved looking around the mosaics and amphitheater, there is a lot of history here and interesting to imagine what went on back in Roman times. If you're into your history then this area is definitely worth a visit.

An interesting historic site . Worth visiting especially if you are lucky enough to go when there is an evening performance of some sort. Recommended.
