part of Paphos Archaeological Park. A largely reconstructed Odeon or theatre (not an amphitheatre which would be round like the colosseum) used for music productions. Nice to see but nothing much original about it. Avoid the middle of the day as it is staggeringly hot with no shade in sight.

Most of your writers seem to have confused the totally rebuilt Odeion in the Archaeological Park with an amphitheatre. There is a huge difference. The rebuilding of the Odeion detracts from this otherwise interesting site, though the revenue from concerts may help to preserve it. Your more few persistent, and knowledgeable, writers rightly left the side of the Park via... More

The fully restored amphitheatre is rather small but is nevertheless quite interesting. The surrounding area continues to be investigated but is not inspiring at the moment. More explanatory information would be helpful as many people were confused.

A very complete ampitheatre ok for a short visit allow 1 hour. Could be included into Paphos ticket, easier to enter from harbour side.

Beautiful theatre and archaeological site but limited shade so it gets very hot! Suggest an umbrella if sunny and plenty of water.Would love to try the concerts up there.

Got tickets to see the New Jersey Boys here. The show was great fun but it was the views from the amphitheatre as the sun was going down which were the stars of the show. If you are going here dont forget cushions to sit on and we took a cool box with drinks and a few nibbles through the... More

It's probably one of the main things holiday makers should see here in Paphos. It's very old and impressing.

The amphitheatre is in the area with the Mosaics. It is a magnificent sight and quite breathtaking. You just feel as if you have gone back to Roman times. It is so impressive and a fantastic piece of architecture. It is difficult to imagine that the amphitheatre, plus the whole site has survived all these years. It is so worth... More
