A pretty pool, but the drive to it is more memorable

The Adonis baths is really just a small pool at the bottom of the rocks, with lots of maidenhair ferns growing around. You can swim in it, but it's only about 15m across and left... read more

On the material it looked impressive. We got there.... Walked down this grand pathway is just off to the left (we almost missed it) was the baths said to be used to by goddess of beauty. Seriously..... There was nothing grand about it at all. you can't get it in as the reading material suggests. Was about a foot deep... More

This is probably one of my favourite places to visit in cyprus. Bit of off road driving to get there but well worth it. €9 to enter and a little walk down the valley to get to a nice cool wooded area and the falls that give you lovely cold water swimming. Definitely a must

The ADONIS BATH is a 2 level smallish waterfall over an algae filled pool deep enough for swimming in muddy water. (Maybe the beauty of Adonis wife Aphrodite depends on mud packs.) A street sign at the beginning of the winding rough road to ADONIS BATH says: "Suitable for all cars". An infamous lie! The mud pond can be reached... More

Lovely place for a visit, road to get to it a bit bumpy but so long as you go careful it is fine if in a car although 4x4 would be comfier. Host was chatty and nice as well.

I would take a bath here as well, beautifull botanic gardens surrounding the waterfalls and a beautifull view from the old tree uphill.

The Adonis baths is really just a small pool at the bottom of the rocks, with lots of maidenhair ferns growing around. You can swim in it, but it's only about 15m across and left my hair a bit sulphurous! It's also pretty cold (or was in late May/early June). I think most people who come here are a bit... More

This is another wonderful place in Paphos. The falls are beautiful and the whole area is like a refreshing oasis among the dusty heat, Totally worthwhile.

Loved the story behind this location although it was a small place and not much to do. The trip was nice, however, you need a 4x4 so better if you visit with guides. A must visit as it contributes a lot to Cyprus' history.

From the main Polis road from pathos the road is initially ok until you turn left and then you hit a track which the signs do say is suitable for all car's maybe so if your in a 4x4 so be vary wary if ur in a little hire car. The track goes on for a good few miles before... More
