Lovely village in the mountain

From the local bakery selling traditional Cypriot bread to the tavernas and church, a good couple of hours can be spent here just soaking up the atmosphere

Highly recommended to have a visit to this beautiful village, which combines tradition with modern perfectly, the people who are working in the shops and stalls are lovely and so helpful without been pushy when you ask questions on the products they are selling, fabulous for dried fruit and different flavored nuts . The silver shops are very much worth... More

We drove there from Limassol and it was worth the 30 minute drive. A lovely village nestled among the hills. Not that much to do but beautiful old streets, nice restaurants and ancient monastery. Well worth a visit

Great pretty little village with nice cobblestone streets, a monastery, and lots of nice cafes. Definitely worth a day trip.

Omodos is a lovely village up Troudos mountains. A large monastery sits in the village and you can go into it. The village itself has lots of stalls selling local crafts, wine, jewellery and some fresh fruit. There are restaurants serving local dishes but for me the highlight was the local people. Ladies sitting doing lace work that you can... More

I visited Omodos Village after our tour group had visited the Kourion ruins. This village, located in a mountainous region, was about a 50 minute drive from Kourion and also from Limassol where we were headed to return to our cruise ship. Omodos was a small traditional pededtrianized village featuring traditional limestone homes and cobbled lanes. The main square -... More

Our party has visited Omodos village on the way back to Lower Paphos from the Troodos mountains. The village is a lovely place to just relax and have a drink in your choice of a few bars, following by a stroll around the small back streets and sample a little piece of the old Cyprus, a visit any of the... Location away from the centre of the village but worth the walk - food and ambience great, we love the owner who takes time out to talk and discuss the food selections.
