Liked the small exclusive shops and the local feel of the village. Disliked the toilet on the roof of the cafe we visited, yes, literally on the roof up a scary flight of steps!

If you've seen a Cypriot town, than this one will be no different. Not too far from the main road so if you have time to kill....

In the heart of the Troudos Mountains, this village is small, unspoilt, geared up for tourists but not too over the top. Well worth a visit.

An interesting stop in the mountains and a good place to taste some wine. Has some charm for sure but couldn't help but feel that it was a engineered setup on top of an original charming village. Worth a visit if driving along the hills though and a good stop for lunch. But I'd say you don't have to visit... More

It is a lovely drive, with spectacular views, from Paphos to Omodos. Just to wander through the old village streets is enchanting. Even though many of them have been tidied up recently they are so still and atmospheric. We invariably end up at the Walnut Tree restaurant - Themistokli's Tavern - in the middle of the village, where we have... More

Loved the monastery. Enjoyed strolling around the cobbled streets and alleyways. Coffee in the square watching the locals play backgammon was interesting. Overall a lovely old Cypriot village which has become a bit too touristy now.

You should visit the church of the Holly Cross, the old preserved wine press (we had the chance to do some free wine tasting), the traditional houses that operate as museums with a very small entrance fee. Walk in the alleys and visit the traditional shops with souvenirs and also see the village women knitting!

Very tidy village much improved in recent years. Many good restaurants and tavernas. FREE parking and plenty of it close to the village. Pedestrianised village having cobbles everywhere. Not suitable for wheelchairs or disabled.
