A village in the Limassol district always worth while visiting. Make sure you see the blow glass shop - everything made by a Cypriot artist. The old church by at the end of the square is also a must. Walk around the tiny little streets of the village. An old wine press is very interesting as well some traditional Cypriot... More

Omodos is a beautiful mountain village well worth a visit. Approaching the village turn right into the first car park (maybe only car park) Short walk to village on right. Beautiful church at bottom, illy coffee shop opposite, with very clean toilets. Follow the little alleyway down and visit the hand made glass shop. Leaving the glass shop turn left,... More

Fantastic place to visit and see real Cyprus from the past. Main square has great atmosphere and we love to have a cup of coffe there. Additionally is very unique as no other village on Cyprus has similar design. Don't go there in high heels though. Surface of the market is from ancient times and is not compatible with modern... A nice village but very commercialised. Too much touting and aggressive approach to selling. We bought some local food products and were met with a very sour response when we declined to buy additional for a discount.

Good selection of cafes and a nice Cypriot village with a church to visit and a wander around the narrow streets with local shops. Well worth a visit.

Very traditional Cyprus village and the friendliest people you can meet. The big church and monastery in the middle of the village is a must see.

Stunning, traditional and quant village situated in the mountains. Gives you a true idea of the real Cypriot culture and lifestyle. Cobbled roads and meandering street where you will find ladies making the traditional crochet and the men playing backgammon. Plenty of local goods to buy and try!

We actually stayed in Ayios Amvrosios which is south from Omodos in a nice village house. We spent the weekend driving around the nearest villages to engage with local culture and habits. One of the most enjoyable events were the winery visits around Omodos and their friendly staff getting us almost drunk just by letting us taste their local production.... More
