The completed parts of the Town Esplanade now make a lovely park. But the unfinished areas force one to be walking alongside the very busy Coastal Drag from the Old town to the Resort Area.

Nice and flat, ideal for wheelchairs, lovely views, and plenty of places to stop and rest your little feet, and have a Leon or two! Enjoy.

Miles of (almost) continuous beach side pathway, from Le Meridien Hotel right through to the Old Port in Limassol. All lit at night and plenty of cafes/bars along the way.

In the middle of renovation. Will probably be excellent when finished. Will be able to walk from Amathus to old Limassol.

this is 14 k long clean and very good for walking or cycling provided you can get one of the many bikes for hire, old town end building work is on-going and should be as good as the rest of the promenade, many families stroll on here each day and evening good place to walk off the evening meal

Only part of the "new" area has been opened but it looks good. There will be more coffee shops and children play area.

Maybe Limassol is a city where your expectations are not exceeded, but the promenade is a very good place to walk, to take pictures and to relax. There are many cafes and restaurants along the street, there is a beach close enough and many benches, palm trees and some inedit statues.

One of Limassol's best attractions is this several kilometres promenade walk, starting right from the old port (under construction into a modern fish port, offices and restaurants project, to be completed by Summer of 2014), ending all the way at the Le Meridien Hotel, almost 15 kilometres away. The most prominent sections are those from the Old Port to the... More
