This is a lovely long beach in between the port of Limassol and the British base on Akrotiri. The sea always seem calm here, if a bit colder than other beaches nearby. Getting into the water is easy and very suitable for young children. Parking is no problem. There are plentiful sunbeds and umbrellas near the tavernas. Try all the... More

Go out to the Ladies Mile white sandy beaches from the New Port Docks area, and you'll pass many restaurants and clubs, until you finally get to the end, at a nice open-air beach restaurant. Beyond it are the protected Turtle Beaches, where no development is allowed. acroiss the road is Limassol's akrotiri Salt Lake and Marshes. During the summer,... More

Lovely quiet beach but with "toys" in the water for those who want them. The sea seemed colder on this side of the island. Good taverna - The Golden Beach - which looked after us well on our one and only trip there. The road to it is a gravel one but worth the bumpy ride for the end product.

This beach is disappointing at the Limassol Port end, but persevere and drive along away for 5 mins or so to the next batch of 'restaurants' (Captains table or something like that). The beach is much better as you move away from Limassol. There are several In the Sea children's play zones (slides, play stages, etc) just off the sand... More

Need a car/taxi to get here. We hired one from the airport for 170 pounds for the week including a tank of fuel. We found it to be the best beaches around Limassol although a bit of a drive along a bumpy, rocky but flat road. We liked being away from the busy centre and all the tourists. There were... More

Taxi driver dropped my girlfriend and I off at the oasis fish bar ,all rocks and pebbles no sand in this area ...walk along the beach for a good 30 minutes and you will find the golden sand and the ladies mile ,not everyone would be aware of this ,we had a good fun beach day with clear sea and... Lovely beach, we use the restaurant furthest away, next to the army base. Very pleasant, often very busy on weekends, food in the restaurant is typical beach bar food but very nice. Free wifi also a bonus!

Personaly i love this beach. It is perfect for families with children because the water is not getting deep fast. There are several restaurants where u can enjoy you food or coffee. The parking also is not a problem. If you don't want to buy your food you can take yours in a coolbox. I used to go there when... More

I don't know if there is public transportation to the beach (close enough to Limassol) but you need a car to go from one extreme to the other! There's a road with at least two restauration areas and parking space, in between plenty of beach to stroll, in some places almost deserted out of busy days. The sand is not... More
