A variety of animals however the heat was too hot for them! There were even animals you wouldn't expect to see! For example wallabies and kangaroos!

A charming sweet zoo with a variety of birds and animals to spend an hour or two. We went with our 11 year old and he enjoyed it but older children might want a larger zoo with scarier animals. 5 euros for adults and 2 euros for 15 yrs and under makes it cheap entertainment on a hot afternoon with... A small zoo but thoroughly enjoyed by our kids, especially the monkeys, otters and pony ride. There are plenty of shaded areas even in the heat of summer and although it is sad to see animals kept in captivity, it is the only time my children will see them so close up (they have class enclosures which means you feel... Not bad for a wander round, lots to see for a 2 year old, beware if you have kids that are tween to teen.... they will be boreed, surly, misunderstood, whingy, miserable and generally morose, but the littluns will love it.

Ok. It's not a huge Zoo, with exotic places , etc. But small, excelent facilities and a nice day spended there. I recomend. After all Nature is always nice to see.

No big animals, but it was a nice, well-maintained zoo. My daughter enjoyed seeing the different animals in their habitats. Admission price is quite affordable (5 Euros each; kids under 5 [I believe]) are free. Pony rides were available as well. Definitely recommended if you're in the area.

Last year the revamped Limassol Zoo re-opened, and it is unrecognisible from the old, traditional Zoo. There are many birds in the ponds and cages allocated to them, The Farm area is also much-improved.

A regular spot for a family trip it's cosy small and has a good variety of animals right beside the beach which is a rare scene as in most cities the zoo is by the suburbs. The nearby walking areas and children's park is a good addition too plus the open air theatre. Must see place for families in limassol.

I am 35 years old and I have never been at the Limassol Zoo even thought I am from Cyprus, Larnaca area. What they did with the new section in side wiith the animals was fair. My kids loved it

This is a small zoo, somewhere between an animal park and a proper zoo. Don't expect big animals like lions, tigers or elephants, more like meerkats (they were very lively and fun), capuchins, deer, loads of birds, some farm animals and so on. The vast majority of enclosures was large and suitable for the animals to exercise and keep busy... More
